Got home about an hour ago......boat is cleaned and the wife is already in bed for an early night.

Took us about 8 hours coming home today, and thru some rain but nothing major. Was still a nice ride. We stopped in the Destin Harbor (AJ's) for drinks and late lunch / early dinner on the way back.

Seems like each evening was a late evening, and each morning was up early so not sure how much the trip did for her on getting some rest. At worst we came up with a new place to visit for short overnight trips.

Did Molly ever make it to the Sports Bar?

Results from Moog?
Other than the rain, I'm loving your trip.

Watching the Orioles and the Red Sox playing in Williamsport, PA in the Little League Classic.
Dad was a Red Sox fan and today would have been his 90th birthday. My brothers and I are Orioles fans
but we also cheered for the Red Sox when they weren't playing the O's. Kind of cool.

We had fun each night at the bar at the marina, but each night the band playing wasn't anything to get all excited about. Then again, nearly no-where Florida, but it is the Oyster Capital which paid off. Food each night was fantastic.

The purpose of the trip was for her to get some rest, but not sure that really happened. Then again, I do my best snoring (I am told) on the boat, which she didn't mention so maybe she was that much more "Out" then I was. LOL.

On the way home today, we were coming the thru the eastern portion of the Chowtachee Bay and discussing about stopping either in San Destin or the Destin harbor and she did mention that she had a good weekend so that made me feel pretty good. It was raining so we bypassed San Destin but made it into Harbor with no issue and plenty of spaces to dock.

Fuel was down to less than 30lbs, which is under 3 gallons, so we did well on MPG's...important when fuel on the water is still pushing $6.00 a gallon.

The only part I didn't like is we never made it out far enough into the Gulf (Which is rare that we do anyway) to legally "dump", so I will have to pay the marina this week for a pump out. Not much there as we only use it on as a "On Needed Basis".....but there were some needs and once you start, you just use it...LoL
