This is one of those days where I'm happy to stay inside and catch up on stupid little activities like cleaning out the medicine shelves in the closet, checking expire dates in the pantry, etc. However, my remaining flower bed across the back yard fence line is looking pretty darn sad but that will wait for a sunny day.

Morning, peeps. Laying low in Vacationland, got my new (.) last week, orders are for R&R. Just chilling at home, may try a short walk. Hubs is taking good care of me.

Good morning. It's another day like yesterday - temperature is in the mid 60s now but headed to about 75 this afternoon. When I was at the boardwalk yesterday there was a beach volleyball tournament but I don't think I'll go back today. In that part of town, on street parking is all metered between March 1 and October 31. I almost never put money in the meters because I don't walk around with a pocket full of quarters. I've never gotten a parking ticket but I don't want to take a chance 2 days in a row. Maybe I'll go to the state park, it's oceanfront so I can take my iPod with me and listen to some tunes while I take a walk on the beach.

Sunny here... we have unusual (for us) October weather with a forecast for 80° today and mid 70s for the rest of the week.
We did finally get some rain last week, if you call .02" on Friday and .08" on Saturday rain...
I know the voices in my head aren’t real, but sometimes they have really good ideas…..

Gearing up for end of the 3rd quarter paperwork starting tomorrow.
Rate the Air Supply concert from Friday night about a solid B grade. Small 1,500 seat venue with great sound. Even though all their songs are love songs it’s not overly sappy with most of them carrying a big big sound to them. Guitar player rocked & Russell Hitchcock was cranking the high notes.

A couple of my brothers and I went to Mom's this morning to watch the Vikings beat the Saints in London.
Mom is the only one of us that has the NFL network. 9:30 in the morning and we were drinking beer, watching the
game, and had cigars at halftime.

Nothing but Blue Skies, light ocean breeze and temps in the mid-80's here on the Gulf Coast. Forecast for the week is the same each day, and same as today.
Labour Day holiday here in the beautiful Barossa Valley (and some other places too).
Finally, we've strung together a couple of fine days.
My wife (Toni) and I are not huge fans of cooking shows. Unusually, this morning Toni was half-watching a show called "Beat Bobby Flay". By the end I was thinking I'd like to beat him, with a lead pipe...

Been watching baseball and racing all day. Astros won, so that was fun to watch. One more series left at home.
I couldn't go to the state park and take a walk on the beach, the park is closed. I went to the park I usually go to and it was empty, when I pulled into the parking lot there weren't any other cars there. I saw a guy walking a dog and he (the guy, not the dog) was wearing a t-shirt that said IN DOG BEERS I'VE ONLY HAD ONE.

No, we visit her every Sunday. She has it because she likes to watch football.
