Yikes It's a Cold SUNDAY @ the MSC

Good morning!

It's really windy here at Ringville and I assume it's cold. I'm afraid to ask Echo what the outside temp is.

Since Kevin is sleeping and has missed the wake up time for 9:00 church we will be heading out for the 11:00 service. He is then taking one of his guitars in for some minor adjustments.

I'll probably start gathering recipes and making an ingredient list for our Christmas cookies and snacks. This will be another challenge year b/c of my wrist. I have been scaling back each year on the variety & # of dozens I make. It seems there are always too many even with sharing with others and freezing a few for the "leaner" months.....Gone are the days of 60-70 dozens .

Good morning Linda. It's about 10 degrees warmer than it was yesterday morning but it's overcast and there's a chance of rain. Maybe I'll stay in, drink coffee and do laundry.

Good morning, Linda. I had a long night. The power went out after midnight I woke at 2 with a cold coming on. Our generator powers the house, but ot means going to the garage in the dark, throwing breakers and starting the generator. I laid there for 2 hours, listening to the wind when the power came back on. I slept well.

Good afternoon all. Cold weather yesterday (and today). I had some leftover smoked chicken
so I make a pot of chicken corn soup. I was back and forth to the kitchen all during college
football. All that's left is enough for one bowl.

Today it's bright and sunny, near 50. I have a few windows open!

Yesterday was non-stop. Visit Mom, liquor store grocery store, unload everything, out to a friend's grand opening of his homemade soap store, a new to us brewery (#137 in Colorado), finally dinner at a bar that our friend is now running (he had a Cajun Food truck for years, then a restaurant, but had to close due to high lease rates). His food is amazing!

Made a big breakfast, cleaned up dishes, and now I'm working on getting packed for our drive to Oklahoma for Thanksgiving.

And we're not discussing that OSU-OU game yesterday..

The World Cup starts today. One of our local craft brewers has a golden ale called Gooooalden Ale.

Another chilly day on the Gulf Coast. 53° and that will be the high.
This would be another good day to dig out in the closet, if I get inspired.

Struggling to hit 60 here, and it is a cold 60 at that. We took a boat ride down to Destin this morning for "Brunch". Had to leave the back cover on to keep the heat in. Sunny however and the Bay and Harbor were full of Emerald Green color.

And the Lions won AGAIN. What is this world coming to?

I know the dilemma. Add in the huge rise in ingredient
