Good morning, Linda. We have a deluge of rain with standing water in the lower yard. With a shallow well, we can flush with abandon.

Good morning Linda and Bill. It's supposed to be in the 70s again today but it's been raining all morning. Maybe I'll go to Old Chicago and have pizza and beer.

Good morning Linda, Bill, and Larry!
Was a whopping 7 degrees this morning, but the sun is out so it's warming up - to about 39 today.
Not a lot going on - just still working on vacation laundry, and what was not done while we were gone.
Work is work..

Good afternoon.
Sitting here at store waiting for prescription fillings. Clinic suspecting a form of bronchitis. Looking forward to getting back home for an afternoon nap.
Do we really need it to be December?

Afternoon BN'ers....
Will be heading up your way Dr. during the first week of the new year. Not exactly how I would wish to start the new year.

I don't think it's going to make it into the 70s, it's 65 degrees but very damp and windy. In honor of the crappy weather I'm having a Breckenridge Christmas Ale while I wait for my pizza.

You probably have that line of southern storms heading your way which passed thru hear this morning. They were fast moving but where fairly nasty.
Does it have a touch of a cinnamon taste to it?

Afternoon, peeps.
Ugly day in Vacationland - pouring rain, blustery, blah. Perfect day for working and lurking. Mr. Lime is rustling up homemade onion soup and grilled cheese for supper.

I didn't taste any cinnamon. The description on the beer list said it had notes of chocolate and caramel. I didn't taste that either. It just tasted like a beer you would drink in the winter.

I stopped at the supermarket on the way home from Old Chicago to pick up a few things. My cashier was very pretty, except for the purple hair.

I'm not sure if Leader Dogs informs all clients of fundraising, but several folks thanked donors in a video I was sent.

Evening BNers
What a day. Larry drove home from Tulsa. When we left this morning, it was 28 degrees!!! 28! Brrr.
Not as bad as Penny7, but cold enough. Traffic was bad, but we made it. And we got In N Out in Dallas area. Yummmm
Feat show was great last night, but they could have turned on the heat in the venue! After the show was over, even the band was wearing their coats on stage. I think that front surprised everyone.
I had trouble with my phone most of the time we were gone. Today, while traveling, I had no coverage...nothing. I forget how much I miss internet when it isn't working. But the minute we got home, it started working.

Former San Diego Chargers QB John Hadl died today, he was 82 years old. One unusual thing about him was he wore uniform number 21. I can't remember the last time I saw a quarterback wear a number other than 1-19.

#20 Bernie Kosar for (1) comes to mind
When I was a kid in the late 60’s of course the Lions stunk & the Chargers were my fave AFL team. Hadl, WR Lance Alworth, RB Dickie Post. Way back machine

Guess I stand corrected. Had #20 in college but not in pros
