Good Morning Ladies....those to come!
Brother-in-law lost his wife last night who's been on hospice care for the last 6-8 weeks. Prayers out to him & their family.
Hopefully I can wrap up my work week today, & lay low tomorrow. Circumstances will tell the tale.
Here calling for rain/snow mix kicking in later this afternoon...then temps dropping big time as evening progresses & we go all snow. Big variance in possible snow accumulation, 3-7 inches here but 25 minutes north of us they're talking 10 inches according to the weather guessers. However the winds overnight/tomorrow are supposed to be a bear (cold bear..not beer ) so good chance we end up with snow on top of ice.
Our family Christmas is scheduled for Christmas Eve late morning so not sure what the conditions will be at that time & if everything will remain status quo.

The top story today (said in my best Garrett Morris - SNL voice ).....is winter storms. For us that may mean a change of our Christmas Eve Eve family dinner and Christmas Eve church service.

I remember SNL because I always babysat on Saturday nights. Dance Fever with Denny Terrio was also a Saturday staple. And Don Kirschners Rock Concert, too, on Friday nights after I got home from the roller rink.

Did anybody see the "Scrooge" skit this past weekend on SNL with Martin Short and Steve Martin........
I laughed my a$$ off.........and I don't watch SNL. Somebody else referred me to watch it. You have to watch it all the way to the end.....

I'm probably not going to have to work tomorrow. And we're probably going to be closed on Saturday. We're definitely closed Sunday and Monday. We aren't doing any deliveries until Tuesday.
Our big guy Beacon has been very lethargic for the past few days. He's been moaning when he lays down or gets up. We got an appointment at the vet this afternoon and he has a ruptured disc. He's on anti inflammatories and pain meds. We're having issues with him going up and down the stairs to go potty. If the meds don't work we have the option of surgery at OSU for freaking 8000.00! My heart is heavy.

This trip is off to a fine start, I just dropped $55 on a phone charger. There's a note on my dining room table in big black letters from a felt tip marker that says PACK iPOD & PHONE CHARGERS. The iPod charging cord is in the suitcase but I forgot the phone charger.
On the bright side, I already have 3300 steps in for the day.
Don’t ya hate when that happens.
We learned the hard way too so We have extra chargers and cords in our suitcase that stay there even when the suitcases are in our closet
The one I bought today is going to stay in the suitcase. I used to have an extra one but when I got my new phone it was a different plug, the old charger cord didn't fit.

Finally checked in to the hotel, now I'm off to the Yard House to see how many of their 100+ beers on tap I haven't had yet.
