Merry Christmas Day everyone! (Except for Rabbiz who is a day ahead of us - so he gets a MERRY DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS).

Since we did all of our festivities Friday & Saturday, it's just Kevin & I celebrating today. We will share a NY Strip Steak, some shrimp and fries later today. We'll also watch the last in our stack of required to watch Christmas movies (a newer one for us), The Christmas Chronicles.

Have a fabulous day -- no matter what you are doing!

Merry Christmas everyone.

I got a Christmas gift last night. I was supposed to be in the 300 level at the Cirque du Soleil show but I guess ticket sales for the 7:00 show weren't too good. There was an usher at each stairway to the 300 level and when I got to section 303, where I was supposed to be, the usher told me the balcony was closed and I was being upgraded. I wound up in the 13th row.

Love is a fabulous show, it's worth it for the Beatles music alone. Between the acrobats overhead and the people on stage, there's so much going on you don't know where to look.

I went back and read the end of yesterday's thread, good thoughts for Jaidyn.

The temperature finally made it above freezing back home. It might be about 45 when I get home Tuesday morning. It should be a good last 2 days in Vegas, the forecast is for a high of 70 today and 67 tomorrow. Too bad my sunglasses are in my car in the airport parking lot back home.

It's a little after 10:30, I didn't have breakfast so I should start thinking about someplace to go for lunch.

Merry Christmas PHriends!!!β€οΈπŸŽ…πŸŽ„

We are slept late. Oh my...it is 47 degrees!!! Break out the flip flops and sunglasses!!!! Guess we should be on the lookout for leaks. Larry found one outside after the 17 degrees, but nothing big.

We had a nice, quiet gift exchange night....just the 3 of us. I got a new Dell. With my eyes getting worse, the phone was getting harder to see. Hoping Larry and Ryan can get it running soon.

Ya'll know the throws made with fleece and tied together? Ryan made me one!! He made it extra long!!...I hate a short throw. He says his hands cramped tying so many knots!!!❀️

Merry Christmas all.

As Boxing Day looms on the eastern horizon here, we are in for a scorcher.

The forecast is for 97Β°F, which means here at Chateau De La Rabbitz it will be closer to 105Β°F.

The due to the late arrival of summer and the preceding months of rain the agricultural seasons are running a couple of months behind. The broad acre farmers will be busy again today stripping and heading the wheat and canola crops or baling the straw from the strip last week. This present two issues in this weather:
- A huge fire risk; and
- A huge amount of dust and vegetable matter in the air - time for some antihistamines for the hay fever.

I had best get out and water the orchard and veggies before the onslaught of heat.

Have a very wonderful day!

The flamingos aren't there. They have a sign that says they've been temporarily removed to protect them from avian flu.

My youngest daughter came over with my bonus grandson for leftover chili and cornbread. We played Clue Jr with Milo, packed up some of the chili and cookies and she's on her way home.

The middle daughter is on her way and will spend the night. We tried to get her to not drive all the way out here because of the cold and road conditions, but she didn't want to spend Christmas alone.

Merry Christmas Fellow BN’ers‼️
I’m sure MOST of you have been nice, however even those who leaned a bit on the naughty side this year are indeed well wished with all the holiday cheer you can handle from the Good Dr!

We survived the travels in the cold & blowing snow & on the funky roads yesterday in doing our family Christmas festivities. Today is just a low key day for Lynn & I.
Got the snow blower out for the driveway & the shovel out to do the back deck. Everything is cleared off now πŸ‘ Think shortly we’ll drag our little 5 foot Christmas tree down & pack it up until next year.

Enjoy your evening everyone!
