Good morning, Penny. I have several bagels a week, with either cream cheese or PB and jelly. My first taste for them was when I worked at an expensive summer camp. Lox and bagels were served every Saturday at breakfast. I haven't had smoked salmon since that summer.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
I love bagels and that's one of the things I miss about New York. Can't get good bagels here.
The Hurricanes had a game last night. They have a player named Jalen Chatfield who is from Michigan. Earlier in the season they interviewed him on the pregame show, the announcer who interviewed him is also from Michigan and he mentioned Bob Seger, another Michigander, during the interview. Chatfield scored a goal last night and the announcer said "we're going to Chatmandu."
We have a few Dunkin‘s near us and I have several gift cards loaded on my app. Today was buy1get1 bagels so I drove the 1.9 miles to get 2 sesame seed. Toasted one for breakfast today and will take the other to work tomorrow.
I posted these pics and the video on FB but realize not everyone uses social media so I want to brag here as well
These are of 9yr old grandson Austins “big moment of life”. Named the jr starter for the Hershey Bears game on Feb 8. He was thrilled to be on the ice with the starters and standing next to the team captain during the national anthem. I choked up as they announced his name and watched him skate into the spotlight next to the team captain, then removing his helmet to honor our country.
The link below the is the announcement of him entering the ice. Make sure your volume is on.

Hi there! Anne is resting, so I shopped and puttered on a table decoration of a shrimpskin boot for Cabin Fever. The theme is Cowboy in the Jungle.
First, I googled shrimpskin boot.
Boots are made with ostrich, snake and alligator, but
not shrimp. Bubba made that up.
I can build boots from posterboard and draw shrimp all over them.

Wife and I took off this morning on the boat for a great venture down to LuLu's in Gulf Shores......about 45 nautical miles in each direction...water was perfectly calm with lots of colors. Got into Lulu's before noon and sat at the back bar (for those that know the place) as it was a great afternoon outside. Temperature was only in the high 50's but the "Real Feel" on my phone app was pushing 70, and felt like such. On the return trip home, we even took the cover off the back of the boat as it was getting warm. When stopping for fuel at our normal spot near Perido Key, enjoyed a dozen oysters on their back deck.....along with a few more beers.
Coming thru the Santa Rosa Sound just pass Pensacola Beach, we noticed something "Large" in the water. We are used to seeing large turtles surface, dolphins, alligators, sharks, jelly fish, etc..........surprisingly, it was a black bear swimming across the sound which is probably a half mile wide at that point.
So awesome for you Ringer’s! Proud moment for sure!
Cool unexpected scenery for your “lovely cruise”Michi…
Today has flown by. My brother needed a new adjustable bed so went out & purchased a new temper pedic one. Took forever to negotiate price, find out what was in stock, etc.
So now we wait for delivery this coming weekend. Gym was right across the road so knocked out some elliptical time there also.
Now watching to see if the Giants will dispose of the Vikings. Crazy start to NFL playoffs
Corona by day, Corona by night, any old time is just alright!

I'm loving this post! My boating is a long way off, so I live vicariously.

We, mostly she, is researching a trip from here all the way to either Key Largo, or maybe even Grand Bahama...estimating that from here to Cedar Key is a day, than to John's Pass in St. Petes is another, than into the Key's is third. A fourth up to a marina in Fort Lauderdale than a day trip (60 miles) over to Paradise Island.....
She is doing the research of the routing and fuel cost...would probably be at least a 3 week trip..
We are really happy however with the fuel economy of this boat. A tad scary, but the fuel and travel program seems to be real accurate.
