Good morning BN. It's a fun superstation and used in a great movie. I'm only an hour and a half away from Punxsutawney, but have never been there.

With the warmer than average temperatures here, every morning this week has been pea soup with fog. Same again this morning. Lawn is starting to come out of the dormant state, and things are beginning to bloom.

Mornin BN'ers and welcome to Friday eve

Good morning. There's a groundhog in NY too, Staten Island Chuck. He predicted an early spring. There used to be (maybe still is) one on Long Island in the village of Malvern but I forget what it's name is. I should know that, Malvern is just north of Valley Stream, where I grew up.

Haven't heard what Buckeye Chuck predicted.

Bryan's follow up from the colonoscopy was good. Everything was pre cancerous and he's good for 3years before his next colonoscopy.

It's butt freaking cold here today but at least the sun is shining.

Have a good day everyone!

I looked it up, there are 2 groundhogs on Long Island - Malverne Mel in Nassau County and Holtsville Hal in Suffolk County. Mel didn't see his shadow but Hal did, 6 more weeks of winter in Suffolk County.

I just got home from donating platelets. The woman who stuck me saw the needle marks from all my previous donations and said "there's a lot of miles on that arm." I said "I'm 70 years old, there's a lot of miles on my whole body."

I am such a whimp!!! Just got back from Kroger and it is nasty out. It is 40 and 4aining/drizzling. If it was colder, we would be as icy as so much of Texas. 😳

No I didn't. She was getting ready to jab a needle in my vein, I was in a vulnerable position.
