Old Stuff THURSDAY @ the MSC
Good Morning Everybody.....
Today is NATIONAL OLD STUFF DAY.....who knew?. I actually thought it meant get rid of old stuff but...
Always observed on March 2nd, National Old Stuff Day gives notice to all that old stuff and encourages you to try something new. Well, maybe not ALL the old stuff, but some of it. It’s a day to break out of the old routines and experience new ones

Good morning, Linda. I'd like to break out of the bad weather routine.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning. It's another shorts and t-shirt day, 75 degrees. That's 3 days in a row that I didn't have to wear pants.

Good morning!
I'm old stuff, does that count?
This interim CEO has got to go. She's questioning things and people that she has no business doing. Asked me about contracts this morning. No, I have nothing to do with them. "You don't"? Nope.
I do enough stuff around here.
SO ready for the weekend. Our only plans are Mom visit and grocery store.

Happy Friday Eve, peeps.
Snowing again today (old), and then a (new) big storm on Saturday, too.![asa [smilie=asa.gif]](./images/smilies/asa.gif)

Afternoon BNers
I am also old.

72 degrees here but a colder front is heading this way with rain. At least, we don't have snow.
Trying to finish up last minute laundry and packing will start soon. As usual, I know I will overpack.

I got an email from Verizon last week with a coupon for a free device sanitizing on my phone. I had to go to a store called ubreakifix. I went earlier this afternoon and the guy in the store said it would take 20-25 minutes. There's a pizza place next store that I had never been to so I went and had a couple of slices. They make a good pie, if it wasn't 12 miles away I'd go more often.

Our favorite is 15 miles away, with nothing else to draw us that way. It's a fast trip and the food is worth it.LIPH wrote: ↑March 2, 2023 5:11 pm I got an email from Verizon last week with a coupon for a free device sanitizing on my phone. I kinda have to laugh - I work 24 miles from home. E and I will often 20+ miles to go to a favorite place, or new place to try.bodypainter wrote: ↑March 2, 2023 5:49 pmOur favorite is 15 miles away, with nothing else to draw us that way. It's a fast trip and the food is worth it.

I’m now 3 miles from work

Used to be 7. Same as Kevin still drives since our buildings were only 2 blocks apart.

Heck, 12 miles is nothing if it has good pizza at the end of it! I can drive more than that, remain in my own town and still be nowhere near a good pie!LIPH wrote: ↑March 2, 2023 5:11 pm I got an email from Verizon last week with a coupon for a free device sanitizing on my phone. It's not just driving 12 miles. The place is in a strip mall off Hwy 501, probably the most heavily traveled road in Myrtle Beach. The Red Cross office where I go to donate platelets is in the same strip mall and getting out of the parking lot is a PITA. The traffic light at the intersection is very poorly timed, there have been several times when after donating platelets I've had to sit through 2 red light cycles to make the left turn back onto 501 to get home. I guess I could stop after one of my platelet trips and get a pie to go, kill 2 birds with 1 stone. And have cold pizza for breakfast the next morning.

And before I forget, some guy came in to get a takeout order while I was there. Two employees helped him carry it to his car. I counted, he had 14 large pies.

Well then, I stand corrected. There are many traffic issues like that in the Denver area. Big PITA!!LIPH wrote: ↑March 2, 2023 10:34 pm Let me add ...
