Nat'l Backyard SUNDAY @ the MSC

Good Morning from a sunny and very blustery/cold Ringville.

Today is National Backyard Day -- apparently a day to celebrate the outdoors. That's great but not doing this today -- our high temp is to be in the low 40's with strong winds (again).....

Anyone headed for some outdoors activities?

NationalBackyardDay
They’re not just a little patch of land with some lawn chairs anymore. For some of us, they may barely be a porch or a postage stamp of concrete. But come to the end of the workweek, we transform them into Staycation Destination #1. We’ve mastered square foot gardens, vertical gardening, pallet furniture, the art of charcuterie, and giant lawn games. They’ve become our outdoor theaters with movies projected onto large screens under an open sky and Adirondack seating.
In the evenings, we seek our backyards to explore nature. We wait for the bees to collect their nectar. Our bird feeders attract birds of every size and color and, with them, furry creatures, too. We look to the skies at night, tracking satellites and identifying constellations. With luck, we will see a meteor shower or two

Good morning Linda. I'm not sure about outdoor activities, it's a nice sunny day but the temperature is only in the 40s.

Good morning Linda, Larry, and Deb!

No backyard here, but a decent patio. Don't miss mowing one, either. ;)

Sunny and 50's again today. Having brunch in a few hours with a Parrothead friend we've not seen in a few years. Going to a place called "Perfect Landing". It's a restaurant inside a terminal at an airport nearby. It's usually used for small airplanes. Great food and views of the runways. :)

Morning BNers

My guys are headed to Walgreens for nyquil and whatever they think will make us feel better. Ryan is still coughing up a lung....his cough is so deep. Larry's is in his lungs and head. Mine hasn't changed...coughing and snotty nose. Ugh. We may never go back to KW. Trip was fine, the afterwards sucks. Still don't feel bad, we all just sound awful
.😵‍💫🙃

And it is 53 degrees. I'm not sure I have enough clothes to be outside most of the day. Lol

I also have music with friends this evening that is outside. Oh well. Don't get to do this very often.

Ya'll have a great day.

Guess it could be. None of us feel bad, just tired with coughs.

Hey, y’all. We have a nice deck and backyard here but it’s too flipping cold and windy to do anything fun. Muddy, too, from those last couple of snowstorm leftovers melting away.

We’re going to head out to brunch and start getting excited for Bahamas trip later this week. :wench: First time we’ve been anywhere in four years. :o

I've never been to the Bahamas but there's a Nassau there and I lived in Nassau County on Long Island for 51 years.

And amazing dinners!! It's ALWAYS busy. Classy place. The airport is a regional one, and you can get to the restaurant without going through their small terminal. :D

I had a nice visit with my newest grand daughter yesterday. She's 10 months old and likes to play with my moustache.
