Like they say, you can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning....
Sounds like a good JB cover, add some Club Trini vibes to it and it would be perfect!

Good morning, Mel and Penny. I was 21 when I started drinking shots at 7:30 AM waiting for trout season to open at 8. The fishing was okay, but my casting was sloppy. I didn't care.

It's situational with me.... socially, it's scotch (JWBlack) on the rocks, at a ball game or after mowing the lawn, it's a bottle of beer or hard cider, and at home it's usually a glass of wine with dinner.

Hey fellow Cafe patrons.
We are in the thick of seeking a tile demo and install guy to help us with the shower issue. We have tapped into every contractor friend we know. We have reached out to friends in the legal and real estate business as well. We will probably soon start drafting a letter to the installing contractor and seek some time of relief from him. Our attorney friend will look it over first. We want to be aggressive but not so much that he ghosts us and that’s always a hard line to see.
It balmy here today. Started with rain but now that’s moved on. It’s 46 but feels warmer to me.
A few weeks ago Kevin bought ingredients for Manhattans. I’ve never had them and I’m not sure I will have anymore after the first one. Lol. Too much “whiskey” type stuff for me.

Good luck, Linda!!
I'm mostly a (flavored) vodka gal now. But I'm just as happy to have a glass of wine (dry Rosé, or Sauvignon Blanc), or a hoppy beer. Like Mr. SPH says, it depends on the situation.

It was a beautiful day, 75 and sunny. I went to the state park and saw my first alligators of the year, there were 5 of them swimming around. One was only about 2 feet long, too small for a pair of boots but probably just about right for a handbag. The others were in the 5-6 foot range. It's been a few years since I saw a really big gator, 10+ feet. I wonder if the state park commission captures the big ones and relocates them to someplace were there are fewer people.

I prefer tequila either in a margarita or Cabo Wabo if I'm drinking it straight.

I pretty much drink anything but gin. Can't stand the taste of it.

Hi there! We fished a bit before my buddy realized he didn't have his phone. Back to the ramp so he could look in his car. He also walked a hundred yards further to check the spot where we met up. No phone. He called home and had his wife look there and to call back soon. I dialed his number to hear if we missed it in the boat . No. I told him take my phone up to his car and dial. Close to his car, it rang. His wife was calling. Following the sound, he found it on the roof! It stayed there after tight turns at the ramp. We caught a lot of fish later.

I have to say, I've never tasted gin!
I used to like bourbon and coke. Until it became my LAST sick drunk in 1981. E loves bourbon, and I still can't stand the smell of it.
