Today is National Dolphin Day.....I love watching them when I'm in Ocean City Maryland.

Anyone remember the TV Show FLIPPER??

Each year on April 14th, National Dolphin Day recognizes the social and intelligent mammals of the water.

Dolphins are cetacean mammals that are related to whales and porpoises. They range in size from 4 feet to up to 30 feet; dolphins are among almost forty species in 17 genera. Found worldwide, they prefer the shallower seas of the continental shelves.

I absolutely remember watching Flipper!! Saw a dolphin swimming around the Galveston area a couple of years ago. It was the first time I'd seen one (other than aquariums), and it was great!

Good morning Linda and Penny. I remember Flipper. They remade it in the '90s and Jessica Alba was in it (I just looked it up) but I don't remember that one. I see dolphins occasionally when I'm at the beach but I must be there at the wrong time lately, I haven't seen one in a couple of years.

The Hurricanes won last night and clinched first place in their division. They have the second best record in the league behind the Boston Bruins, who set all kinds of records for wins and points this year. The 3 NY area teams all made the playoffs but one of them is guaranteed to go home early, the Rangers and Devils play each other in the first round. The Islanders play the Hurricanes in the first round so they may go home early too, the Hurricanes had a much better record.

Food shopping done. Waiting for 2nd shower contractor to show up then a mall walk with a girlfriend since she can’t walk long distances in 80 degree weather.

When I woke up this morning it was raining. Within an hour the rain became a downpour complete with several very loud thunderclaps so I decided to do laundry. I'm waiting for the dryer to shut off and it's turned into a beautiful sunny day. Oh well, there's still time to do stuff outdoors when the clean clothes are put away.

I saw a sign stuck in the grass on the side of the road like you see around election day. It was an advertisement for a reptile show at the convention center tomorrow and Sunday. Reptile show/election day, pretty much the same thing.

Hi there! I saw lots of wildlife on the river including a beaver, ducks, geese, a turkey and a bird out of place, a loon. They prefer lakes, not rivers.

There was just a story on the 6:00 news about a local high school football player who announced where he's going to play in college. He's finishing up his junior year so he still has another year of high school to go but he's 6' 7" and 275 pounds. I wonder how big he'll be when he grows up.

The reporter said the kid had 21 Division 1 scholarship offers but he's staying in state to play at the University of South Carolina. Go 'Cocks

The new tour name has been changed. To be consistent with Buffett's age the tour will be "Breaking Wind".
