Good morning Bill. I like ice cream and almost always have some in the freezer but I rarely go out for any. We have a Cold Stone Creamery here and if I do go out for ice cream that's where I go. My cousin used to have a Ben & Jerry's franchise but that was when I lived on Long Island and he was in central New Jersey, I won't travel for ice cream.

Didn't sleep in - seems the usual for me on weekends. Making some breakfast, and washing one last load of laundry. Some more odds and ends of things to do, but we're not going anywhere today. Sun is back out, and that bit of snow will be melting.

We have some ice cream in the freezer, not sure if we'll have any today.

Bagels and loaded Bloody Mary’s for brunch. No real plans, just mushing around the house and playing with the dog.

I'm an Islanders fan but I'm going with the Hurricanes in this series. They're a much better team than the Islanders and have a better chance to go deep in the playoffs.

Today's game started at 1:00. It's a beautiful day so I set the DVR for the local cable sports channel and went out. When I got home I turned the TV on and started watching what I was expecting to be a hockey game. The Atlanta Braves game was on instead so I switched to TNT for the national telecast and missed the first 2 periods.

Larry turned on the heat!!

Watching the Astros play the Braves. It was tied until the 9th and Astros are up 5-2. Hope they can hold off the Braves.

Ice cream? We probably have 10 kinds...but Ryan hasn't made any since we got back from FL. Since I gained a few pounds, I have been cutting back. He has been making fruit smoothies.

They did a story on the Snitker family. Dad is coaching Braves, son is playing for Astros. Both have World Series trophies.

It sounds like you spent your time more wisely than I did. I was REALLY hoping the Islanders would even out the series by taking both games on the Island... oh, well. The 'Canes are obviously the better team, as evidenced by their league-finishing position. It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings... but I think I can hear her warming up back stage...

Did laundry, made a menu for the week, Bryan went to the grocery. I made a batch of fresh blueberry muffins for the week, a batch of tomato basil bisque for later in the week, and a batch of cheese and onion enchiladas with tex mex gravy for dinner tonight. Bryan made a batch of chili cheese burrito filling for use later.
