Good morning, Penny. I had no snappy title or I would have opened the cafe'.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning.

World of Beer has a soft pretzel on the menu, they call it a German pretzel. It's on the appetizer section of the menu but it's as big as my head. I've had it a few times, when I get it that's all I have to eat.

Happy APD to Penny.....and others that qualify for that distinction.
In our office we only have a part time AP during tax prep season.....so I guess we should celebrate this day about 2 weeks earlier for her sake
Otherwise, I guess my partner & myself do the the duties an AP would do so I guess I should celebrate myself!! Happy AP Day Ken 8)
Enjoy your 26th day of April Gang!

I went grocery shopping earlier today. The supermarket has a senior citizen discount on Wednesday, 5% off if you're 60+. My cashier was a little old grandmotherly looking woman. She asked me if I qualified for the senior discount. Nobody ever asked before, they just always give me the discount. And they never ask for ID.

I was at the store a while ago and the older lady ahead of me was given the senior discount by the cashier... who THEN asked for her ID to purchase a bottle of wine!!

Happy hump day, peeps. 8)

Seeing soft pretzel bites and giant soft pretzels on more and more appetizer menus up here, with honey mustard or beer&cheese sauce. Not my thing but Mr. Lime likes them.

Happy AP Day, Penny! Do you have your vacation coverage lined up? Hopefully someone who won’t leave you with a steaming pantload to clean up when you get back.
You only have two options - havin' fun or freakin' out...

They never ask me for ID when I buy beer either. I guess I look like an old goat. [smilie=noeyedear-shrugging.gif]

The pretzel at World Of Beer comes with stone ground mustard. I don't know how that's different from regular mustard but it's pretty good. You can also get beer cheese sauce but that's extra, I think they charge about $3.50-$4.00 for it.

Take away the rainbow, and add snow, and that was our day yesterday. :D

In a previous life, I would drive up to 90 miles in the AM dark to fish. I was looking bedraggled in a New York state Burger King ordering a small coffee, which was 59 cents. Not sure if there was tax, I asked how much was it? The young clerk said, "27 cents." I asked,"Is that a sale price?" "No, sir. It's your senior discount." I replied, "I'm not a senior." She replied,"It's for anyone over 50." I paid 27 cents for the coffee, I was 44.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Just got out of the new hot tub. Decided to buy some outdoor curtains for privacy. So I placed an order immediately. Now I need to find some neck cushions. More progress has been made in the basement. You know....by the time we get this place done it's gonna be an awesome party place. The basement will be self contained with a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room and a pool table. The upstairs has a full bath and 2 spare bedrooms at on end of the house and our master with an en suite bath on the other side of the house. Can't wait for all the kids to spend time here!
