Off to church and then I will probably try to get some of those flowers planted that I bought 2 wks ago. Will be interesting as I will be playing in mud rather than dirt.

I got an email from the Pelicans yesterday thanking me for my support this season. I've been to 1 game, opening day. Not much support. The email contained an offer for 1/2 price tickets for today's game. My thrifty self would usually jump at a money saving deal but there's a 60% chance of rain today. Maybe I'll wait until around 4:30, game time is 6:05, and see what the weather looks like.

I got breakfast in bed....pineapple Mickey-shaped cake and gravy filled biscuits!! Yum!!
Larry also gave me an Astros shirt.


We had planned to go to In N Out but it is showering off and on. I feel like we are beginning to mold.

I hate to pass up 1/2 price baseball tickets but the Pelicans will have to do without me at tonight's game. I went to the park earlier and it's very muggy, then it started raining while I was driving home. Not a heavy rainfall but pretty steady. It stopped raining a little while ago but it's still overcast and when I checked the hour by hour forecast on the weather app on my phone, it's at 60% chance of rain at game time and 50% for the next 2 hours. I'll wait until the end of the week and see what the weather's like Saturday. Tickets will be full price but they have a doubleheader to make up a game that was rained out the second week of the season.

Finally stopped raining long enough to get to In N Out. Yummy, as usual.

We ended up with 86 deliveries yesterday and a lot of last minute walk in shoppers and a few disappointed callers after I told them the earliest we could deliver was Monday.
I came home and had a margarita in the hot tub.
My ankle is still not any better and the steroids are really playing havoc with my blood sugar so I have made the decision that if everything I'm taking to treat gout isn't making it any better then maybe it's not gout? So I'm stopping all meds and I'm trying to decide on whether I go get an x-ray tomorrow or Tuesday on my day off. Maybe I'll call my PCP tomorrow and see if I can get in to see him?
Today is Bryan's birthday , we did a video call with the middle daughter in Colorado, we spoke to the oldest daughter on the phone and the youngest daughter brought over a lemon blueberry loaf and a homemade loaf of bread and she and her dad made me garlic bread and a favorite pasta dish called Amatraciana. At least I think I'm spelling it right. And we watched A man called Otto. We liked it.

Been running all day - saw Mom this morning, stopped at the grocery store, then we had some brunch.

Then the laundry has begun. I'm on load #4, and will probably have 3-4 more to do.

We had a GREAT time, so I guess the laundry is worth it.

Hi there! It was windy fishing today, but while running upriver, I passed under 3 eagles soaring cirles.


Tough deal on the steroids, Tammy. I can't take them orally or in a topical without risking additional eye damage.

Sorry to hear the ankle problems aren’t getting better. Frustrating My daughter is going through some things & meds not helping her either.

We watched the same movie today also. Just enjoy most everything the Tom Hanks does. Don’t want to spoil anything about the movie but I’ll just say a bit of an emotional roller coaster ride
