Well, the x-ray of my ankle showed nothing broken which is good news, but it didn't show anything else except for what the doc called "a little bit of arthritis". So he referred me to a podiatrist. The nurse from my PCP called me this morning and said in order for him to order an x-ray I need to be seen by him. Well no $h!7 I've been trying to see him for a week now. So I told her I went to urgent care last night and she said oh yeah now I see that. She said to follow up with the podiatrist and call them back if I need to see my PCP. So I called the podiatrist and surprise surprise there was no one available to take my call so now I'm playing the waiting game again 🙄😕😞

Good morning Ken and Tammy. I hope you're able to find out what's wrong with your ankle.

Dallas won last night so I have all 4 of the conference finalists still alive in my Stanley Cup bracket. There have been 12 series in the first 2 rounds of the playoffs and I'm 10-2, I missed the Rangers-Devils and Avalanche-Kraken. I picked the Rangers because they were the team of my youth and the Avalanche because they were the defending Stanley Cup champions. I have the Hurricanes winning the Eastern Conference and the Golden Knights winning the Western Conference, let's see if I can be 12-2 heading into the finals.

Good morning Ken, Tammy, and Larry! :)

Come back from vacation and now I'm stuck covering the front desk until Friday.

   Still bummed about their loss.

Tammy - I wonder if there's some sort of stress fracture, rather than a break in a bone. Those are hard to pick up on x-rays. Arthritis just doesn't suddenly cause that much pain. :( Good luck.

In the bracket I entered you have to pick how many games each series will go. I was so sure Colorado would win, I picked that series to be a 4 game sweep. That's the only series all through the playoffs that I picked to end in 4 games.

I had to go grocery shopping and since there aren't any hockey games on TV tonight I stopped at the Beer Den and had a couple of frosty beverages. While I was there I got a text message from LensCrafters that my new sunglasses were ready. Now I have to take a ride to the mall. Maybe I should walk the mall while I'm there and get my steps in for the day.

Thanks everyone for your caring thoughts. It sux that we are at the mercy of the healthcare system and that they won't prescribe anything for pain because so many people abuse the medication. So you can't get it when you really need it.
Unfortunately my boss is leaving for a week on Thursday and she has tapped me to go in early to open and to close up everyday too... so I'm trying to figure out how to keep my foot elevated as much as possible 😉

It's been a busy month. Two birthday parties for the new grandaughers. One more this saturday. Today was my mom's and my
youngest brother's birthday. Mom is 89 and my brother Kraig is 51. What does Mom want for her birthday? New tires for her car. :pirate:
