Morning, Bill and BN!

Spring Break for me so I have been enjoying being lazy between chores.

Cloudy cool and windy here in Michigan today. Gonna go run a few errands then continue Spring Cleaning. Girl kid will be home for Easter Weekend so that is motivating me to unclutter and clean. Living alone sure can make me less concerned about dust and pet hair…. It is almost embarrassing.

Hoping everyone has a great day!
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......

Good morning Bill, Mel, and BN! :)

I was flipping stations on my drive into work, and "Delaney Talks to Statues" came on Radio Margaritaville. Put a smile on my face! :D

Good morning. It's very overcast and there's rain in today's forecast. I have an appointment to donate platelets at the Red Cross at 11:30. It's about a 20 minute drive and 4 or 5 miles of the drive is on Hwy 501. As the license plate I saw a couple of months ago said 501SUKZ so I'm not looking forward to driving in the rain.

I got a call on my cell phone earlier this morning, the caller ID said Woodmere, NY. I didn't answer it and whoever it was didn't leave a message. Back in my banking days in the 1980s I dated a girl from Woodmere. I doubt if it was her.

It's a chilly rainy day here, but the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

Back to work today. And it's very quiet here. After work Bryan is going to stop for last minute things for Easter dinner but I'm meeting up with a few ladies and we're having dinner at the local Mexican restaurant. There will be margaritas consumed.

We're hosting my MIL, Bryan's youngest brother and his long time GF, and our youngest daughter and SIL.

We're having a glazed ham, MILs recipe for Yummy Cheesy Potatoes, Deviled Eggs, Mist Green Salad (a jello salad), Fresh green beans, dinner rolls and a Hummingbird Cake.

Hummingbirds are really small, how many do you need to bake a cake?

Hi there! Last week I tried shrimp tacos at a place we frequent. I got them again today, so good!. A slice of coconut creme pie for dessert topped me off.
I put a live cd of Mac's on in the garage once home. I've heard his stories at several shows, but never tire of them.

Hey again, Bill! I'm an odd one when in comes to tacos. I just want them only with beef. My brain just can't wrap my head around seafood or even chicken.

We do Turkey Tacos (ground turkey) at home (tonight, actually) and I pretty much live on Fish Tacos when we're in Hawaii. Blackened Mahi Tacos at Tommy Bahama's Happy Hour are the best. 🌮🍹

I'm the same, beef only. But I don't eat seafood anyway so why should I ruin tacos with it  There used to be a place here called The Brass Tap. They had a good beer selection and Tuesdays were Taco Tuesday, I think tacos were $2. It closed a few months ago and it's a seafood place now.

Oh, I just remembered that we found "Jenny-O's" brand of ground turkey that was taco seasoned, and we actually liked it. Haven't seen it in a few years, tho.

I missed this yesterday... but ironically I had some great blackened-fish tacos last night at a new place in town. I love seafood and because sometimes beef tacos can be too greasy, I appreciate the fish (broiled not deep fried) option!
