Still catching up on work stuff from being gone. From the way folks are acting, you'd think I was gone for 4 months, not 4 days.

Hi kids!

Rainy gloomy day here. Lots of people in the office today so I have my door shut so I can “focus on work.” I do have a few things done but I really would like to take a nap.

Not gonna lie—-I am rather jealous of everyone in California today for the concert. I think it will be super special. I wish it were being streamed, although I wouldn’t be able to listen due to work obligations. Adulting can really be stupid sometimes.

Hoping everyone is feeling healthy and happy. Sure seems like so many of us are struggling with health things. Makes me sad but then I laugh as I reconsider how “We are the people our parents warned us about” takes on a whole new meaning as we are getting older. . I used to think it was to stay away from bad influences. Now it is more about the “wait until you are my age…..”

Playing phone tag with my PCP office. They left me a message earlier this morning to say they had my blood test results and some important new information and instructions for me. I've called back twice and left messages. Hopefully I hear from them soon.

Very busy in the shop yesterday and today. And I have a headache. It's been raining here all day, but just now it looks like the sun is trying to come out.

Sunday, my flight is at 11:10am. After I check in at the hotel I think I'll go to the Yard House, I have a $20 gift card and an email with a coupon for a free dessert. Can't leave free stuff on the table.

I just got an email from the North Charleston Coliseum, Heart is going to be there in October. I've never seen them in concert and I would like to go to the show but October is still hurricane season. We've had 5 hurricanes since I moved here and they've all been in September and October.

Well, I'm happy. The DU Pioneers won their game tonight and are going to the NCAA National Championship in hockey. They won it in 2022 and 2017, and many times before that.

I saw Heart back in the 80s, once was at the Yale Bowl with The Eagles and Little River Band. The other was with John Cougar.
