The first time I ever traveled to a Jimmy Buffett concert was 24 years ago, he played the MGM Grand here in Vegas on my birthday. I still have the T-shirt I bought at that show and I'm going to wear it today.

I went to the Yard House for dinner last night but I forgot to bring my gift card and the coupon for a free dessert for my birthday. I'll have to go back today, they have about 100 beers on tap and a lot of them aren't distributed on the east coast, or at least not in South Carolina.

On my way to the Yard House, I stopped at Margaritaville. I heard it was closing so I had to have one last Blandshark. The word I heard was today was the last day. I asked the bartender if it was true and he said it's closing sometime between today and May 15.

Thanks Tom. I'm going to the Vegas Golden Knights game tomorrow night, the season ends Thursday but I think tomorrow is their last game. I get to see Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks.

When I was at the Yard House last night for dinner, the place was packed. Most of the tables were occupied, there were hardly any empty seats at the bar and there were 6 bartenders working. Today there are less than 10 people at the bar, hardly anyone at the tables and only 2 bartenders. On the bright side, one of them is really cute and she has a name you would expect for a Hooters girl, Brittani.

Blake Shelton has a new place on the Strip, it's called Ole Red. It was under construction when I was here over Christmas, I think it opened last month. They have live music all day. I may have to stop in later and have a frosty beverage while I listen to some music.
