Good morning Penny. I'll make it a positive Friday. I just got home from the airport and I'm positive I'm going to make a quick supermarket run. I don't have anything for lunch and I need milk for tomorrow's corn flakes.

Good morning and happy Friday!

April has historically been a month of bittersweet emotions. My birthday and my daughter’s birthday are both in April. It also seems to be the month of school violence.

Like Larry said, let’s focus on the positive. I am positive that I will be sleeping in tomorrow because I am positive I will be over this workweek about 3 pm today 😀
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......

I had to change planes in Detroit and the flight from Las Vegas to Detroit was almost 45 minutes early. We were supposed to get there at 4:56 and we landed just before 4:15. No such luck from Detroit to MYR, but at least we weren't late.

I knew I forgot something, the Tropicana Hotel is closed. They're going to demolish the building and that's where they're going to build the baseball stadium for when the Oakland A's move to Las Vegas.

I backed out of my final (4/yr) girls beach weekend scheduled for May 2-5. This is the 1st one I've missed in 35 yrs but there's just too much going on in the next 9 weeks. Im sad

I feel the same way... my husband, F-i-L and my son all have April B-days. My son's 21st was the day of the Virginia Tech shooting. And had we not moved, he would have gone to Columbine.

But in the positive Friday vibe, I can relate this story...
I was grocery shopping on Wednesday just picking up a few things and was specifically looking for the free Spruce seedlings an Earth month promotion. I could not find them and asked the produce manager who was covering for Floral that day. He said he had not seen them come in. A few minutes later I was at the other end of the store when he approached me with one and said "I found them!" :D
FF to today... I was back there doing my normal weekly shopping, and I saw a "suit" from corporate walking around in Produce. I went to the manager who had helped me Wednesday, and asked him if that guy was his boss and he confirmed that was true. So I walked over to the boss and relayed to him how pleased I was with the manager's "above & beyond" help 2 days earlier. After I was done Matt (the manager, I made sure to learn his name  ) thanked me. It was a positive vibe for both of us! :D

The Mariners are in Denver for a 3 game series with the Rockies.
Tonight's game was rained/snowed out.... I blame it on Russell WIlson.
