What's for breakfast Monday @ the MSC!

Post by SMLCHNG »

Good morning! :)

I just had some scrambled eggs with a LITTLE green chili and cheese from our little cafeteria. :)

Work was stupid over the weekend. Time to clean up some messes.

Have a good one!

Good morning Penny. It's a beautiful 70+ degree day.

I have my annual eye exam at 11:30, then I think I'll go to Mellow Mushroom for lunch, I haven't been there in a couple of months.

I got to the mall, where LensCrafters and the eye doctor are, and I realized I left my wallet home. I went inside, told the woman at the front desk what happened and said I could go home and put them 1/2 hour behind schedule or stay and get my eye exam then go home and be back to pay. She told me not to worry about it, come back later. I'm such a doofus. [smilie=dunce.gif]

:D Well, that was nice of her to offer that to you, Larry! Some people wouldn't be as nice about it. And enjoy Mellow Mushroom! They closed the one they had near us. :( I liked them, too!

When I was leaving LensCrafters after my eye exam, I stopped at the front desk. There was a different employee there, a young guy. I told him I had spoken to his colleague about forgetting my wallet and she said I could come back later and pay. He said "I don't know if I can trust her." Then he paused and said "she's my wife."

Afternoon, all!
Breakfast this morning was left-over French Toast from Jim's birthday breakfast. After a quick zap, it was almost as good as it was Saturday!
Then it was time to make black bean and mango salsa to go with the salmon planned for dinner.
The rest of today was spent cleaning the deck before bringing our table and chairs up from the basement. It was the perfect day to get this chore done as it was just warm enough in the morning to work with water and then the afternoon sun came around and dried everything off.
Tomorrow I will go do the errands I had intended to take care of today!

That *IS* nice news! :)

My yearly cholesterol numbers came back.. after 10+ years ago starting at 329, I'm holding steady at 206. HDL and LDL are both in the acceptable range. :)

Hi there! Eggs, bacon and toast with some PB n J was breakfast.

Linda incited me to purge, but it has slowed down. We acquired a number of folding camp chairs that we just don't use. We need folding chairs like we need a typewriter.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

We just gifted some through the Freecycle website.

Arg! It took the plebotomist 5 stabs before she had success finding a vein; it's no wonder that I hate needles so much! 💉💪 🩸
Last time was not much different and after too many pokes I finally asked if someone else could do it.
The young lady who came in was successful first try and I hardly felt it.... I need to remember her name and accept no other.
