Good morning Linda. It's a little overcast and there's a slight chance of rain but it's 75 degrees so I'm okay with a few clouds.

Good morning Linda and Larry! :)

It's sunny and 60 outside. Inside? About 80 degrees. :-? I'm covering the front desk all day today. At least I was warned, and not a surprise call off.

Happy about the Nuggets advancing, and hope the Avalanche beat the Winnipeg Jets tonight, so they'll advance.. :D

beautiful weather here. Since I came in at 7:45 I'm bugging out of the office at 3:45. It's not like I don't have anything to do at home

Yesterday the eye doctor told me my prescription changed since last year but the difference is so slight that I don't have to get new glasses unless I want to. Medicare doesn't cover vision and neither does my supplemental insurance plan so I'll keep last year's glasses.

I got new glasses every year under my working insurance. Now I use my old frames for the new lenses.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

I had a couple of errands to run and while I was out the car in front of me at a red light had a strange decal in the rear window. ASK ME ABOUT MY BUTTHOLE [smilie=noeyedear-shrugging.gif]

I hated the sticker S,,t Happens and thought of a cartoon I would draw of a well dressed man passing by the low brow by his truck and sticker. Smiling to the low brow, the man says," Some deserve it."

Hey there! Had a nice visit with my SIL. I have a beef roast in the crockpot. We're going to shred it up and use it for wet burritos and other yummy stuff.

Hey I've been thinking about Molly and Moogy. Does anyone have an update?
Have a great rest of the day!

I had a follow up appointment with my dermatologist today... last August she biopsied a spot on my scalp that was determined to be Actinic Keratosis, which, if left untreated, can progress to squamous cell carcinoma. This was a week before Jimmy's passing, so it was pretty alarming, to say the least.
She doesn't seem too concerned about it, so I'm trying to ignore it.
She froze about a dozen pre-cancerous spots off my face, and scolded me (again) about the use of sun-block and hats, etc, etc, etc.
Like a wise man once said (it's been attributed to several different people), If I had known I was going to live so long, I’d have taken better care of myself!

A dozen spots!?! Whoa, that's unnerving, Mel. I should see somebody myself.
