Had our meeting with the Medicare specialist. She also checked all of the doctors I see (including Dentist and Eye doc) and they are all on Medicare's list.
Unless it's some kind of Medicare Supplement plan, I don't think Dentist and Medicare go in the same sentence. It does pay for eye care (eye health), but not glasses. I find it ironic that three things that Medicare doesn't cover are teeth, glasses, and hearing aids. Those seem to be the three things that most of us retirees need most. It's good that it does cover new knees and hips though....
I am sure that is NOT a coincidence... We looked into an Advantage plan that cover dental and glasses.. but we have been very happy with our supplement plan and do not want to switch out of it... as the Medicare Advantage plans are too restrictive in what providers they allow.

We are going to get the UHC Advantage plan (what Mom & Dad had) because it covers all the Physicians we need/want and the prices/coverage are all that we're looking for. The gal we're getting information from is someone who had a Medicare seminar two weeks ago, and she's also a Medicare Educator and we have learned SO MUCH from her that I was completely confused about previously.
