Sunny and chilly here in Michigan. Coffee is on and I am snuggled up in a blanket while I catch up on all the social media gossip. Lions don’t play until tonight, which bums me out. I like Sunday afternoon football. If only my opinion mattered. I think I am up to date on the Matthew Stafford back in Detroit gossip. Big whoop—he has been gone how many years? Who cares if his wife and kids aren’t coming to the same tonight? It’s a school night, so maybe they can’t be up that late to watch daddy toss a ball around. Eeks. I am almost as bitter as the coffee this morning.
Anyway, enjoy the day, kids.

Good Morning Mel!
We planned to get to the 9:00 church service but neither of us woke until 7:30 - so 10:45 service it is.
No plans for today except I will paint the 2 shelves our friend made for me. Then move onto the small dresser we are using as an entry table. We bought it several years ago from Marketplace and had it in our guest room. The new guest room is already completed and didn't have room for another dresser. Other than that --- nothing much going on since the weather guessers are saying cloudy and cooler.
Have a fantastic day everybody!

Good morning ladies. We head to a craft fair soon. Anne is past the nesting stage, so she rarely gets stuff at the fair. I buy expensive cheeses strudel. It is worth it!
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good afternoon Mel, Linda, Bill, and Debbie!
Typical Sunday. We didn't sleep in. I made breakfast, doing laundry, nachos for dinner.
Watched a few movies. Baseball on now. We haven't watched the NFL in several years. I do look at scores tho.
A year ago today we said our final goodbye's to Mom - at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. Sigh.
Off to fold clothes... it's another hot day and our A/C is working OT.

Re: Football Sunday at the MSC
it turned into a dreary/rain off and on day here at Carolina Cabana. We got to the 10:00 church service since we didn't get up until 8.
After lunch while Kevin was reading in the Carolina room I painted the 2 shelves our friend built, as well as the foyer dresser (and a very small hanging shelf unit that we brought but weren't sure we would use -- its going in our bedroom for my small Peanuts collection).
Will soon start chopping veggies for a sauce with some ground hot Italian sausage for dinner. We usually grill the veggies in a wok-type container, but not today since it's raining.

I would love to have a day or two of wet/dreary. No, I don't want snow of any kind, but... our electric bill normally runs $50 - last month was $188 and this month it's $224. As I've said, our A/C is just NOT keeping up. I have it set at 73, but the temps stay at 75.

Re: Football Sunday at the MSC
Good evening BN ladies & Gents.
While I enjoy the Lions & pro football, my bigger passion is college ball. And I tend to devote much time into watching NCAA ball, thus come Sunday I feel guilty if I hunker down to watch much pro ball. In the case of today haven’t watched any at this point.
Feeling pretty heavy eyed so probably crash early tonight,
so likely I won’t Even tune in tonight.
