SUNDAY @ the MSC
Good Morning!
Not sure what we're doing today. The 22nd annual "Lip Rippin’ Chilympics Chili Cook Off" is at Murrells Inlet today. We may go with our neighbors since we like the Murrells Inlet area (and the neighbors). However, it's going to be another warm day here so I'm not sure if we want to walk around in the heat with a crowd of people for purchase samples of lip ripping chili .
Last Fall we bought and used our first ever artificial Christmas tree. Yesterday I cleaned out Kevin's Pilot since it's larger than my Tucson & with the kids coming Thursday it will be more space for the 5 of us since it has a 3rd row of seats. There were TONS of pine needles in the cracks & crevices of the Pilot -- probably about 5 years worth

Re: SUNDAY @ the MSC
Good morning Linda and BN!
Chilly 38 degrees, turned on the fireplace for a bit. Snow expected later - about 3" overnight. Just enough to make traffic stupid in the morning.
I'll be finishing laundry that I couldn't do during the week, making beef stew for dinner, and relaxing a bit - we worked hard yesterday putting things away from the flooding. Didn't sleep well starting about 3:30 am, nose stupid.
That's about it so far this morning.

Good morning. In a little while I'll be relaxing on the couch with a cup of coffee watching North By Northwest, it's on TCM at noon.
The only thing I still have to set back one hour is my watch. I did everything else that needed to be done last night.

Re: SUNDAY @ the MSC
So am I... but we do have various appointments that make knowing the actual time a necessity!
I am pretty sure I did all the clocks, watches, and various "devices" (thermostat, stove, microwave, coffee maker, etc.) this morning (but will probably find at least one I forgot later) ... and will adjust my car the first time notice it is "off"... which could be a while!

I have many appointments too. With my illness it's never ending. I was just goofing. We have multiple manual clocks to adjust.

Re: SUNDAY @ the MSC
Kevin woke up with horrible sinus pain and said he was up from 2:30-4:30 so any plans for church and then the Rip Your Lips Off chili cookout were a "no go".
I took off for a little bit of shopping. Stopped at Goodwill, Kohls & Ross's to look for some small Thanksgiving decorations. I ended up with 2 bath hand towels with turkeys on them -- nothing else Thanksgiving around. I think the South (and many other areas) goes straight from Halloween to Christmas. In our area of Pennsylvania TG was a fairly large holiday.
Kevin is now napping so I will take my neighborhood walk. Then come back & maybe wash the guest room shower & tub since it hasn't been used since May when we came down with 1/2 of our belongings & stayed a week. Want it clean for Bridget, Andrew & Eli when they arrive on Thursday.

Re: SUNDAY @ the MSC
I still can't figure out how to post pictures. Can't upload from them on my desk top (says the board attachment quota has been reached) and when I copy them from FB it just does it by a link . So, here is a picture of Brandon's family at the hotel they are staying at for Austin's outdoor hockey weekend tournament in Buffalo NY.

Bryan finished blowing the leaves in the back yard today, I did laundry, put fresh sheets on the bed and have a loaf of banana peanut butter bread in the oven. Hopefully it will be done and cool enough to send half the loaf home with the youngest Daughter who is visiting.

Go to the picture in Facebook (or what I do is send them to myself in FB Messenger) and then right click on the picture and select "Copy Image Link" and then click the "Insert Image" icon above (three icons to the left of "Normal") and paste the line there.Linda!Linda!Linda! wrote: I still can't figure out how to post pictures. And yeah... most of our appointments are also of the medical variety.

You explained well. And I just added a space before the first img so it would work.SeattleParrotHead wrote: ↑November 3, 2024 4:08 pm

I swear I read bread in the bed, instead of the oven.melon59 wrote: ↑November 3, 2024 3:45 pm Bryan finished blowing the leaves in the back yard today, I did laundry, put fresh sheets on the bed and have a loaf of banana peanut butter bread in the oven.
