Fly-by aloha, peeps.
Mr. Lime is rustling up bagels and bloody Mary’s before we finish up outside lights. I’m making turkey tetrazzini for dinner with the last of the leftovers. Total comfort food on a chilly day.
Mercifully, the Giants are not airing in our market.
Safe travels, Penny & E!

Good afternoon.
I heard Lou Carnesecca died yesterday, he was 99. He was the basketball coach at St. John's and as he got older he became famous for wearing some of the ugliest sweaters ever made instead of wearing a suit at games.

Re: It's December @ the MSC
We saw that news last night. While not unexpected it is a bit of a shame, as he was only about 5 weeks shy of hitting the big 1-0-0!
Jim is a St. John's alum so we are familiar with him, and those sweaters!
We went to an alumni watch party once, right after Jim retired as it was out here in the 'burbs instead of Boston for a change. There was this one guy who (for some unknown reason) was trying to impress someone with how long ago he had graduated, I think he was class of '96, so he had been out about 20 years at the time. I can still remember his face when Jim said, "Well, when I was at St. John's Carnesecca was the coach, NOT the arena"
Hope everyone traveling on this last day of Thanksgiving weekend has safe travels... I know I am very glad to have stayed home and hosted instead!
In Boston with...

Hi there! I'm smearing paint and watching John Wayne. One painting is Cleveland at dusk. The other is a 3 foot mini mural of flamingoes on the beach. Painting warm water is good mental health.

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Re: It's December @ the MSC
We are safely in Dodge City, KS. Boot Hill Casino, with a Hampton Inn next door. We played a few slots after dinner, and I came out about $50 ahead. Dinner were amazing ribeye steaks (cooked to perfection, imagine that, steaks cooked well in Kansas!) Our drive from OK was fine, and we made it here in about 4.5 hours.
Tomorrow the drive time is about 6 hours, but we'll gain an hour so we'll be home in about 5 hours from whenever we leave KS. Just need to be home in time to get some dinner and get clothes and such ready for work on Tuesday. 89 days, 64 WORKING days left. Pictures from our meals.
Off to bed soon. Amazing how sitting in a car for hours and make you tired. Hugs and g'night till our next check in.
My sister-in-law got me a 'chocolate pinata' to celebrate my retirement at the restaurant we were at yesterday, and it was filled with fruit and churros. On the board was chocolate sauce and and whipped cream. It was SO much fun breaking it open.
E's nephew, SIL, brother, Mom, Dad, Me and He.
I cooked dressing (my Mom/Grandma's recipe), sweet potato casserole, brown sugar apples, mashed potatoes and gravy, and green bean casserole (no I did not eat) for Thanksgiving - E's mom made the turkey and a cranberry relish yummy thing.
I also made my breakfast casserole, Biscuits and gravy, a hamburger/pepperoni/spaghetti casserole with a pineapple/cheese/Ritz cracker casserole. Yes, I cooked ALL of the meals for Thursday/Friday/Saturday, and tho I'm exhausted, I LOVED the cooking and the family loved the food.

Re: It's December @ the MSC
Good Evening!
The day got away from me .
Did 3 loads of laundry, got in my walk, then we assemble the tree & got the lights on it. We also dragged in the boxes of decorations (must less than we had before the move. I did get the lights outside before our amazing Sarasota thanksgiving trip.
Time for bed.
