This will be my 180,021'st post on BN. And it's also my 23rd year BNiversary.

SO glad it's Friday. Only worked 4 days this week, but it feels like twice that. At least I'm finally caught up.

Weather is sunny again, and in the 50's.

We got another 8 inches and I shoveled 1.5 hours. We were to head to Cleveland today, but will wait until tomorrow.

The Hurricanes played the Colorado Avalanche last night. Colorado has a player named Nikolai Kovalenko. Not unusual, there are quite a few Russian players in the NHL. The Hurricanes announcer said Kovalenko was born in Raleigh, NC. His father was a hockey player and he played one season for the Hurricanes.

Colorado has another player named Ivan Ivan. His parents must have a good sense of humor.

That must be ANDREI Kovalenko... for some reason that name popped immediately into my head... not sure why as he was never an Islander!

Pretty chilly this morning... I was hoping to clear the snow from the deck but it was still frozen solid. I should have done it yesterday, after the driveway, but I needed to be available to sign for some wine, and I was afraid I'd miss the doorbell out there. By the time FedEx showed up it was dark out and had frozen. Oh well... no steaks tonight!
I put some ice melt on it and will try again tomorrow as it is supposed to warm up a bit... fingers crossed.

We had some sun but apparently a little chilly for some folks. I wore a long sleeve tshirt and an old navy fake down vest. I was comfortable. But from what we hear that will eventually seem freezing cold to us.

We got our 6 month auto policy bill. It went up $120 to $971 Calledad led our agent. He re-ran the data and since we’ve been here with no issues he got it down to $766. Can’t complain even though we were paying only 1200 per year in PA since our property taxes are $3,000 lower now ( with a comparable value home.
