I can't believe I'm opening this AFTERNOON! Where is everyone?
Anyway... December 8th, 1980 - 44 years ago now - John Lennon was assassinated outside his home in the Dakota.
It is one of those days people around my age will always remember.
It is sunny here, I hope to finally get the ice off the deck so we will have grill access once again... fingers crossed!

Hi there! We are back from Cleveland. The parrothead Christmas was great, but all there are getting old.The only young person was the musician.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good afternoon.
It's almost 70 degrees and when I went to the park I couldn't find a place to park. There's a baseball tournament, in December. I detoured to Total Wine, I didn't really need beer but I had a coupon that was almost expired. The beer won't go to waste. Then I went and walked the mall, it's just down the road from Total Wine.
Now I should relax and have another one of my 12 Beers Of Christmas.

We've just been busy this morning. Not much sleeping in, I made breakfast, cleaned up dishes, unloaded/loaded the dishwasher, did more a couple more loads of laundry, stripped the bed, we put up the Christmas tree, put everything back away, now about ready to put the bed back together, fold clothes, then make dinner.
And yes, I remember when Lennon was shot.

Good evening almost over Sunday.
Our keyboard is still pretty much unusable and I dislike typing lengthy anything on my phone. I can export to my iPad but I prefer the desktop.
We had a beautiful day and I was lucky to spend a few hours with some neighbor girlfriends at Barefoot Landing. No shopping, just walking and taking my and laughing.
Kevin was at home with the guys. Smoking cigars ad testing the new keg of beer. The replacement from what the garage floor drank.
Tomorrow I will meet with new Dr Hand. Looking for my 2nd shot in left thumb. They may make me schedule that for a separate appointment and that would be fine. Might as well start the new yr off with procedure fees toward my $1,500 deductible
