Hello Bill !

Friends from PA on their way back home from Florida arrive this evening. We've got some stuff to do.

We are waiting for the Hyundai dealer to return our call. Yesterday when I went food shopping I dropped my remote key in the parking lot. I went to put it in my purse and it fell and then in SUPER SLOW MOTION it skidded across the blacktop and went right down through a storm water grate. I watched it drop about 4' and disappear into the water........UGH. The remote is only $90 at the dealer but we need to get the quote for programing it which will be the biggest expense. We can't use a regular key to unlock the door if we use the remote to lock it. This is all due to the "KIA BOYS" viral tiktok from last year showing how to use a USB cord to unlock, start & then steal certain Hyundai models. Hyundai was ordered by the Feds to fix this issue and they put on a "bandaid"....which also makes it impossible for car owners who use their remote to lock & then use a key for entry :

Official last F/T day here. FINALLY! Said a few goodbyes to the night shift staff. And our longtime Security guy gave me a dozen roses and other flowers. What a nice surprise. 7 more hours to go..

Good morning. Happy last day at work Penny

I have to make a quick trip to Walmart. It's time to change the a/c filter and I forgot to buy a new one. The supermarket sells filters but they never have the size I need. Then I'll go to Total Wine to replenish my beer supply. I have time before St. Patrick's Day but I want to make sure I have at least one Guinness in the fridge, plus whatever else I feel like grabbing off the shelf.

We went golfing because it got up into the 50's.

Hi there! I got off easy with a 100$ plumbing bill. The contractor is very good, but he's 72. We depend on him often.

I have to make sure I stay away from the area around the Pelicans ballpark tomorrow. The Myrtle Beach Marathon is tomorrow and unless they changed the route it starts and ends in the ballpark parking lot.
