Well, it took me a while, but I can document (and remember?) 42 after the show in Camden this year. Still have Pittsburgh and Jones Beach to go this year. My fiest show was Chapel Hill, NC in November 1977.

Donchuknow wrote-Hey Josh! Glad to see you back posting! I'm lovin' the VK CD more and more everytime I listen to it. I can really relate to "Bang Bang" Those are the very reasons I don't listen to mainstream radio stations.

<<Man I wish I had kept ticket stubs from the very first, but who knew it would turn into this?>>
I'm with Jackson on this one - never thought I would be asked that question 25 years after my first concert!! I've seen at least one show a year for 25 years.
I probably have seen Jimmy at the Garden State Art Center (now PNC Bank) more than any other place. He used to play every summer unitl the early 90s than came back once after they changed the name. I've also seen him at Madison Square Garden a few times, Vernon Valley Ski resort, all the Camden shows and many of the Merriwether post shows. The Acoustic tour 1989 - Beacon Theater NYC. One East Hampton show. Saw him do Margaritaville on the MCA show at Fan Fair in Nashville in 1983 (does that count). This year will be my first Jones Beach show and I was hoping to make my first trip to Great Woods on the 31st. I'll be on Cape Cod visiting family Labor Day weekend. But so far I haven't been able to find a ticket.
My favorite place to see Jimmy has to be Honolulu, Hawaii 2 years ago!!
Josh - good to see you back!!
Pat

well, we're not as hardcore as some here (315 shows?? My god man, get a job!!!

) but I have seen Jimmy 13 times (my wife has seen him 12 times), so it's not like we're
rookies or anything.
Here's the list:
'82- Glen Helen ampitheater during the US festival
'90 and '91- Holywood Bowl
'92-Greek Theatre
'93- Irvine Meadows and GH Blockbuster arena (back to back nights)
'94-'98- Irvine Meadows
'99-Universal Ampitheater (NYE show)
'01-Irvine Meadows
We are doing Coors Ampitheater (SD) for the first time this year and Irvine the weekend after, so that will bring my total to 15 shows.
Hope to meet some of you S.D. Parrotheads along the way

Mr. White, did you happen upon the acquaintance of a guy known as "shoes"???
I have a friend (who is now Lenny Kravitz' Lighting director) who has mentioned the gent on several occasions..Too bad my "way of meeting JB" through said channels never panned out...
One on the list of "great ideas that never panned out"..

crabman-my fear of flying{in small planes} kept me on the crew bus the last few years of touring with Bubba and I don't remember "Shoes" although I'll be the first to admit-I don't remember some night's with jimmy altogether if you know what I mean!! Josh

Four for me: Camden 1999, Camden 2000, Camden 2001, Camden 2002.
HOPEFULLY I'll be able to expand my horizons a bit for the next tour

Unfortunately...

Zero.

I never heard of an appearance in a small venue in ranch country in the 70's and 80's, and we have an aversion to crowds so I'm s*** out of luck

But I torture myself trying to watch the video on Yahoo:) jennifer

I will never forget my first, 1978 Belmont Park race track and it was FREE.
Jimmy was on stage with a broken leg.

I don't really remember, but must be been well into the 30's. I first saw him in '77 here in Savannah. He's been here three times that I can remember. After one show, he climbed on stage at an old club down on River Street and sang the rest of the night - really cool in a small club setting. I've also seen him in Atlanta many times - Fox Theatre, Hi-Fi, Ga Tech Stadium. Then there was Orlando a few times, Ft Lauderdale, Tampa, Charlotte, NC, Augusta, GA, and Hilton Head Island, SC. In HH, I saw him twice, once in a regular concert, opening act of Little Feat, and the other was a private concert playing to the Fidelity Insurance Company annual stockholders meeting back in '86 or '87.
Oh the years (and beers).... May they keep rolling

I am at 12 right now. Going to try to add at least 2 more on this year if I can. Next year though, planning on road tripping as much as possible. Got to do it before I get into something serious!
