The Boston Globe has an interview with Jimmy Buffett "Artistic freedom, fun still float Buffet's boat" by Steve Morse.

- He hopes to open a Cheeseburger in Paradise in the Boston area next year

- ''Far Side of the World'' has sold 400,000 copies

- Mailboat records will release new albums by Boz Scaggs and Maria McKee. Buffett has been talking with James Taylor about moving to his label.

- Buffett is keeping busy writing a new novel, ''A Salty Piece of Land,'' centering on the character, Tully Mars. He hopes to have the book done by October.
