Print Your Own Tickets
I was wondering if anybody has used the "print your own tickets" option with Ticketmaster. The last time JB tickets went on sale, I started to give it a try, but I was a little concerned somebody would try to tell me the tickets weren't valid.
For anybody who has used it, how does it work? This may sound silly, but if you print tickets out, there will be no place on the ticket for the ticket taker at the gate to tear if you print it out on regular paper. And, did you have any problems convincing the ticket taker that the tickets were valid?

i used it twice now, shoreline & phx. both times without a problem for any of us (14 tickets total). they scan the tickets to validate/invalidate it. there are 2 barcodes on the ticket which look like, and are the size of a regular ticket. they scan both barcodes at which time the ticket becomes no longer valid. couple of recommendations... print them on a high quality printer and don't fold or damage the barcode areas.
I'd feel bad for you, but I have no soul.....

We used the print your own option this year. Worked great. The only warning we got was to never buy a print your own ticket from a second hand source. If someone has already gone through the gate and had the same barcode scanned, your ticket wouldn't be valid. As long as you're buying directly from Ticketmaster, there shouldn't be a problem. We had our tickets in about 2 minutes. Our friends, who opted for actual tickets sent in the mail, had to sweat it out until 2 days before the show.

I've used them, with no problems.
Selling them (if you have to
) to friends is no big deal, you just forward the email, but I'd never buy one from someone I didn't know, so selling to strangers could be a problem.
