From the Orange County Register: The Angels have a new celebrity fan - Jimmy Buffett. During his concert Thursday night in Irvine, Buffett wore a red Angels cap during his last four songs, and footage of the "Rally Monkey" was displayed on the giant video screens, prompting cries of "Go Angels!" from many of the Parrotheads on hand. Jay Lucas, the Angels director of broadcasting and publicity, gave Buffett's manager a cap, jersey and video before the concert. Maybe Jimmy will wear the jersey at tonight's concert.

Jimmy yelled Go D-Backs at the concert he was doing the other night in Arizona. Didn't he use to be a Cubs fan? I think he's just doing this as a crowd pleaser depending on where he is.
