Interview on Atlanta TV

Jimmy appeared last night on Monica Kaufman's "Close-Ups" on WSB-TV in Atlanta. This is a local news version of the famous Barbara Walters show.

Monica did the usual interview we've read or seen hundreds of times, asking about "Why Don't We Get Drunk ..." and how Jimmy explains that song to his kids, about his Catholic upbringing and its influence on his music, and if he ever gets tired of playing Margaritaville, etc. Not one mention of his books, planes, restaurants, etc. However it was very short as they were trying to cram 5 different interviews into a 1/2 hour show. Too bad, Monica is Atlanta's version of Oprah and has done much better.

The only bonus is it looked like the interview was recorded before the show in Atlanta this past summer. Lots of parking lot shots and a few comments from some parrotheads well on their way to getting hammered.
