I take those into consideration too!
How about my University of Margaritaville decal? (not that I ever get pulled over)
What do we actually do??

Great topic to draw out lurkers like me. I am CEO of a nonprofit in the Boston area. We work with people with disabilities throughout eastern MA, providing employment, residential and healthcare services. We run a few business enterprises and have a line of our own products. If you shop at TJ Maxx, Marshalls, JC Penney, Bed Bath & Beyond you probably have seen our products.
As a dad of 4 I consider coaching youth sports to be a second full-time job! It'd be super to meet some of you at Great Woods (I refuse to call it Tweeter) if I am lucky enough to get tix.

Add another Cop to the list. We too have several Parrot Heads at the Department. I also teach DARE and I am a School Resource Officer.L Phins R wrote:I got through all the postings here waiting to see Police Officer and they are at the end. FiguresI know there have to be more of us out there.
Im a police officer and Im a DARE instructor and Bike Officer. Yes I get paid to peddle around in shorts when its warm out, and no I dont have the legs for it! But it helps keep me trim in the summer months from all those donuts I pack away in the winter. We eat donuts, right guys? I love my job and have been doing it for 14yrs now. We have enough Parrotheads at work to fill a bus for the Alpine trip every year. So yes, that Ph license plate or plate frame might just help get you out of a ticket sometime.![]()
Enjoy..great thread!
And I am in complete agreement about the PH stickers/Plates DO help you get out of a ticket

I'd LOVE to meet you at either Chicago or Alpine. Those are the only two "FOR SURES" I do every year. Occasionally I'll do a road trip to Atlanta, Raleigh, Florida, or wherever, but Chicago and Alpine are definates every year. Our PHC does a bus trip to Alpine from Cedar Rapids, and some of us go on our own to Chicago. Let me know if you want to meet somewhere for a beer or 100.
Also, I'll be in Chicago March 6-7 for the "COCO-BOWL '04" put on by the Chicago P.H.C.-it would be great if you could make it there.
Stay safe!
Garry
I have many pics of me (drunk) with the local guys who are so unfortunate to have to work the concert and the drunks (me)
They are always nice and I have sent of several patches that way.
Take care and stay safe.

In my profeesional concert attendee role I am often asked If there are openings. Well, in the summer, we have about 20,000 openings on Tuesdays. Thursdays and Saturdays.Gypsy In The Palace wrote:Any openings on staff? If so, where do I send my resume?SDPirate40 wrote:I am a professional Jimmy Buffett concert attendee. In my role I am expected to fly to 7/8 shows per year, mostly on commercial aircraft, but sometimes forced to be in a Lear 35 (yikes, no head). In addition, I am expected to drive the FINS BUS to 3/4 Caliifornia, Arizona and Vegas shows per year.
Little known fact...after 100 shows, Jimmy does put you on his payroll....however, the rum is fogging my brain, hard to find the checks....

Yea for the DARE officer! My son took DARE twice...in different schools. Alot of people in our area think that DARE doesn't work...it might not, but it worked for him. A big THANK YOU to all the DARE officers!!L Phins R wrote:I got through all the postings here waiting to see Police Officer and they are at the end. Most excellent news BareFootnKC! I had no idea there was the ammount of LEOs on here! I only know of two on my department (of 250) so I think there are more, just closet fans.
