I will keep you in mind, and if things do not work out, good luck with your education, I am sure this will get you somewhere out of Ohio. While I love the Flats & Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, and Miami of Ohio's campus...I sure agree....chilly out your way!

Yes, so FEW New Yorkers on this board. Or rather, so few parrotheads in NYC. I'm a litigation associate at a large NYC corporate firm. I work not far from Rock Center. In fact, I walk through Rock Center every morning, listening to Jimmy of course!

By the way, I can totally relate to this. Tomorrow will be my first day off since Jan 5. Luckily I will have a little breather - I'm heading to FL for 5 days next work.

Too bad my blackberry will still work in FL, but at least I'll be away.
Can you get Radiomargaritaville at work? It helps me SO much late at night and on the weekends. The Tues night and Sat afternoon concert replays keep me sane.

I never used to be able to, but the firm got new computers about a year ago and I can listen to it now. I also have a CD player in my office so that helps keep me sane. A friend burned me copies of the 2 Vegas shows from last month and I've been listening to them every day.

It's been interesting reading what all the other parrotheads do for work.

I am a licensed clinical social worker. Bascially, I am a therapist who works with kids and families who have been impacted by some kind of trauma, primarily sexual abuse. Nice light work with absolutely no stress. And people wonder why I go totally wild at parrothead events!!!

I am a Research Tech for one of the largest chemical companies in the world. Basically, we check the viability of agricultural chemicals at an early stage.

This is a very good thread. I am " a shadow" a "one on one" or as I like to say "Griff's friend". He is in kindergarten this year, he has Down's Syndrome and I get him from class to class. Speech, resource, kdg. etc.
I love what I do and it is a huge balancer in my life. I also have 2 boys who require rides to every in season sport practice and the games of course. I am a high school Boosters member and am on the soccer board. I also co-ordinate the football concessions stand at the high school. I am very busy but, I have a great job as well as a great "Buffett influenced" life!!!
