Top 10 Tours of 2002

From the NY Daily News:

1. Paul McCartney ($98.8 million)
2. Cher ($67.6 million)
3. Billy Joel and Elton John ($66 million)
4. Dave Matthews Band ($52.8 million)
5. Neil Diamond ($52.2 million)
6. Creed ($37.3 million)
7. Aerosmith ($36.3 million)
8. The Eagles ($34.9 million),
9. Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young ($34.9 million)
10. Jimmy Buffett ($27.7 million)

Of the top 10 tours for 2002, eight were led by musicians above the age of 50. The only exceptions were the Dave Matthews Band and Creed, which made its first appearance in the top 10.

Good point Ragtop!! I saw Aerosmith & The Eagles this year! Both rocked but Jimmy's always number 1 in my book!!

I dont know this for sure , but jimmy probably didnt play half the shows some of these others did. And he is still top 10!!! :wink:
