JB mentioned Derek Sanderson..he played about 1/2 season with the Philadelphia Blazers (WHA) and had his media guide photo taken with a cigarette hanging from his mouth...what a trip he was...that's when hockey was a real sport

I was listening to the 'old' version of this earlier - driving my keet to school - hoping he'd play the new version tonight. I like BOTH versions - could't pick one over the other
I listened to it a few days ago. I gotta say I like the new version better. It is a lot more Carribean.
Boat Drinks sounds GREAT live the normal way! I liked the bluegrass version but it sounds better regular.

I never did get to hear tne bluegrass version of BoatDrinks. Can anybody e-mail me a copy of that cut?

Come Monday had been before Boat Drinks.
No problem. Just gives a different order of the stand-up routine.

Sco if you love to hear old hockey stories, war stories and all that cool stuff, you would love talking to my grandfather. He used to have season tickets to the Blackhawks, back in the day when all there was was the Orignal 6. Telling me how he used to have First row Mezz. right on the Blue line. and how those tickets only cost him 2.50 a game. His war stories are even better. Bout how he fought on the beaches of Normandy ( reason why it took us so long for him to watch Saving Private Ryan, His reason was, why in the HE** do i want to watch a movie about it, when i was there) Though his company did meet up with the Easy Company ( for those of you who dont know what that was, its the company Band Of Brothers was based on) He does stlil have the First Zippo Lighter ever made ( he was stationed out in PENN where they made them, and they gave eveyone out there in the army a zippo lighter)

No chance the flyers are going to win tonight...No scoring at all and they keep getting smaller up front...
Only thing I know about the Blues is that dude that does one the commercials with Melrose, CLement, Espo & engbloom (some of the heros of my youth) where's a Blues Jersey

SirG - I can relate. My Grandfather was similar with the stories from WWI and WWII. He was in the navy. First US expedition up the Yellow and Yangzee rivers before WWI. He died about 7 years ago at the ripe age of 105. Saw the world go from Horseback to Spacetravel. What will our kids see?

Any Chance I'd run into him into a bar? Love drining and hearing old sport stories and war stories from those that experienced it. Then again, maybe I just love being in bars...

The Gulf Winds are kind to us in SC. We hit mid 60s today. Calling for a Cold Rain this weekend. Will think of you and our old neighborhood in central VA.

Time for Cheeseburger.
PP, if this snow keeps up for another month or so,
we may actually be out of the drought status all summer.
Summer? What is that???
Any one anticipating anything with the full moon this weekend?
It started early here.
