Buffett's got a new boat

Jimmy Buffett has bought the first ever Rybovich 42' Express Walkabout yatch produced. I found this in the January, 2003, edition of Boating Magazine (p.29 - Wet Flashes). The blurb reads:

"Rybovich sold the first of its million-dollar 42 Express Walkabouts to Jimmy Buffett. The son of a son of a sailor first learned about the new high-end sport-fishing boat - dubbed Margaritavich - when it was still in the concept stage and he became involved in the development. Expect just 10 boats - each powered by twin 660-hp Cummins diesels - to be built each year."

Acvtually, i got to attend the premier party for the boat in Ft.Lauderdale at the FLL boat show.

It seems not only did Bubba get the first hull, he participated in the design!!

You just gotta admire Jimmy...

He takes his dreams and not only makes em real, but writes books and songs about it all and makes buckaroos too!

After I have some Margaritaville shrimp, I will wash it down with some Margartiaville tequila... Oh, please pass me a Krispy Kreme from one of his stores in Palm Beach...

I wonder what his DNA has in it!? Besides rhythm and soul, I mean...
