Any good ideas for buying Buffett tickets? We have tried online and bought lawn seats for Baltimore. We tried on the phone and got great seats for Jones Beach (we were extremely lucky and have not had any luck the past two years). I refuse to go to a broker. They "hire" 40 people to wait or cut into the front of the line at the box office and they buy as many tickets as possible. the brokers then sell the tickets for outragous amounts. my children like to attend the concerts with us and it would cost a fortune to buy 4 tickets 9even lwn seats at $200 each). If you have an idea, please let me know.

My best luck has been to get as many people involved as possible. Have as many cell phones as you can for as many people as you can get in one place. Have another person on the computer, another person on the main phone, and another person in line at a Ticketmaster outlet. Keep another line open for status updates between you and the person at the outlet.

I estimate you need at least 4-5 people trying to get tickets for every one who will actually land tickets. Double duty and concentration is the key. Five people spaced out in the same line (if they do the lottery) have a better chance than 5 in 5 different locations. All should have a cell phone working too.

I don't HAVE 4/5 people to help me out (they all think I'm crazy anyway)
I'm just gonna rely on Dave (PA PAR8 HED) for my tickets!

I just noticed the title of this thread, "Tweeter Center and Jones Beach."

Obviously, that was posted before the show was changed, but if you can get four or five people to help you buy Jones Beach tickets, please tell them I have some beachfront property in Oklahoma for sale.
