In fact, I'd sit alone on the ground and watch spit evaporate before I'd sit and listen to Chesney sing--he's got no soul.
How long does it take for spit to evaporate KK???? Just curious..

I have wondered about this for quite some time......I wish there was some way to make Jimmy live forever....he will always live forever in our hearts and there is absolutely NOBODY who can replace the best band ever to exist except for Jimmy buffett and the coral reefer band.
PHINZ UP!!!!
PARROTHEAD FOREVER!!!!

I personally think that Sunny Jim and Jim Moriss and The Big Bamboo Band will continue the legacy. Don't forget A1A, The Landsharks and CGB (Coconut Groove Band) also.
You gotta love "Laid Back and Keywasted" by Jim Moriss.
And who can forget "Life in the Laid Back Lane" by Sunny Jim!

The Buffett tradition continues. The marquee in 20 years: Cameron Buffett. The Tour: A Son of a Son of a Son of a Sailor looks at 30.

My fav. lyric from Sunny Jim - "Liquor - hell I just met her"
Heard that lyric twice last w/e! Very funny song.
Regarding what to do when Jimmys gone (assuming he goes before us), I guess we could visit him in the Rock-N-Roll hall of fame and gaze upon his taxidermic smile!
I opt for Jim Morris

Me too!
And I believe that line "Liquor - hell I just met her" is Jim Morris, not Sunny Jim. It's Jim's version of Jerry Jeff Walker's song Redneck Mother.

As long as my CDs don't wear out I can still listen to the real thing and I won't have to settle for Buffett-lite.

What about K-K-K-Ken's P-P-P-Pets? (A Fish Called Wanda...for those of you that rode the short bus to school)

One word.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Maybe they can do a robotic Jimmy in Universal Studios...
Jimmy is too spiritual! He will never go away!
The Book of Jimmy 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave his only besotted son of a son of a sailor, so that parrot heads may have everlasting liphe!
We use some of dat Caribbean juju voodoo and bring Jimmy back if he go, mon!
Worst case scenario: Does anyone have those cardboard faces of Jimmy from the concerts?
