Any views on the best party place? Is it the Ice House or the Riverwalk? I attended the show last year and partied at the Mexican Restaurant in the Woodlands, not bad. I don't remember the Riverwalk. If I remember there was some driving to and from the Ice House.

1 Ticket on Ticketmaster!

Post by moeb03106 »

Fellow PHs, I was just on Ticketmaster getting ready for the big on-sale date tomorrow for the East, and lo-and-behold, there was *1* ticket still available for purchase (Lawn) at the Woodlands show.

Have fun, hope a fellow PHAN gets it before the scalpers!

ok, i got my lawn tickets in the mail and i accidently double ordered (wasn't sure if first order went through because the TM site froze up) anyway, it won't be a problem finding people to use my extra tickets, my question however is that the first group of tickets say "lawn" and like gate GA9, the other group says "lawn1" and gate ga7. if anyone who has ever been there before can please inform me are we all gonna be able to stay together or is the lawn area sectioned off or something. thanks in advance, and thank all of you guys who are posting tailgating info. greatly appreciated. hope to see some of you guys there.

Houston, riverwalk and lawn area

There was no river walk last year... It is all new. You will be amazed at what the difference is along there.

No way of knowing what sort of parrot head activity will go on along the riverwalk, but I am sure there will be no booze there.

My bet would be on the Papa's Ice House party... Not sure what sort of activity went on there or at Guadalajara's last yr. we went right to the venue to not miss pre-show stuff.

I got a Buffett Corona banner from the bartender at Guadalajara mexican resturant a week or so before the concert.

I hope Club Trini and Amy Lee are outside before hand...

Several years ago some friends and I brought the whole tailgate setup to Houston for Buffett. We set up at the front gate with coolers, a blender, five gallons of margaritas, pina coladas, etc. We passed an extension cord through the fence to a worker inside the pavilion and partied for several hours until the gate opened. We never had any hassle; I think they just don't want thousands of people hanging around the parking lot all day. I'm not sure what we are doing this year, but I'm sure I won't be at work the next day!
