We should try to coordinate a place for all of us to party at the night before and/or the day of the show and/or after the show.
A few of us east cost BN-ers (Great Woods Veterans) will be there that weekend as well it would be cool to hang out with all of you west coast people. I know a few are staying at the Flamingo, some are like me are down the street from the Flamingo at Largo. Still 9 weeks away so way to early to make plans but it won’t be long.
O’ Minister of Entrainment lead us please…….
Howie Mandel is playing at the MGM that weekend as well, in the smaller arena. He is hilarious I have seen him 3 times live; I may try to catch the Friday night show.

I will be coming to Vegas with my wife and another couple. Will be flying arriving Saturday morning around 11, leaving Monday morning. Staying at the Key Largo. If my room isn't ready when we arrive, who will give us something to drink until it is ready?
Besides the pool party, is there a tailgate party somewhere nearby. I am use to tailgating. It is a lot cheaper than the MGM party and I always meet the most interesting people.

Official MGM Grand Concert Packages
I called my connection from last year with MLT Vacations in Minneapolis and they confirmed that they will once again have a large block of tickets for the Buffett show in Las Vegas. They are the official vacation package company for concerts at MGM Grand and are owned by Northwest Airlines, so it is very legit.
Last year we bought a package through them with air from Minneapolis, hotel at MGM Grand and tickets to the show at face value for something crazy like $350 per person. It was a great deal.
I would suggest them for anyone who is looking to fly in for the show this year from the midwest. The packages will go on sale on Monday, Feb 24 at these two web sites:
www.worryfreevacations.com
www.nwaworldvacations.com
Best part of it all - they include the ticket at face value as part of the package and don't charge any Ticketmaster fees!!

mgm usually hosts an all day event before the show. other people are saying that the theme park has been torn down and something else is being built in that space. the closest thing resembling a tailgate party last year, was 2 guys in an rv in the parking lot across the street from the mgm. i think it was next door to the san remo. and if anybody has not seen the ticket prices yet......sticker shock............

CORRECTION: The Travel Goddess (Jeepgirl) has us all in the same tower, not all on the same floor. I don't think she knows floor assignments yet...PHAW Webmistress wrote:Another Vegas Bound Baby checking in.......hmmmm if we're all on the same floor at the San Remo ~ I really pity the other people on that floor
