The only thing I'm aware of is something they have on their website (Nissanpavillion.com)...I don't remember the details...it was something about you can buy your tickets Saturday at their box office. It may be done on a lottery system. Sorry-it's been a VERY long day and my memory's not quite on target. Your best bet would be to check out their website for the phull scoop. Best of luck to you in your ticket quest!
Hope to see you at the show!

I've heard that TM updates their web site on Wednesdays....last year I did not find out until a few days before. All of the radio promos I have heard this week have been saying the tix go on sale this Sat. and can be purchased through TM....

From the Nissan Pavillion website:
As with all events, tickets will be available at all Ticketmaster outlets, by phone, online, and at the Nissan Pavilion Box Office. The Box Office will have a random line lottery on the morning that tickets go on sale. Parking lots open at 6am on Saturday, March 8th. There is no overnight parking allowed. Random numbers will be handed out 6am-8am. Random numbers will be drawn to determine line positions beginning at 8:30am. Arrivals AFTER 8am will line up in order AFTER those with numbers. Note that the box office accepts CASH ONLY for this event. That means we do NOT accept credit or debit cards of any kind for this on-sale, so that we may service as many customers as possible. Ticket Limit (per person): 4 in Orchestra sections OR 6 in other reserved areas and the lawn.

Hey, Blonde Stranger. That's not too far from me, so I might just show up. Have you had good luck getting tickets there in the past? I was planning on coming up to work Saturday morning to take advantage of our fast internet connection to try for tickets, but I'm always open for suggestion.
Also, does anyone know answers to these questions:
1) If, instead of the listed 1-800 number, I were to call a different ticketmaster number, say in Richmond or Roanoake, would I be able to get tickets from them?
2) Anybody know whether, if we do get through on a phone, we can order tickets to both the 7/3 (Baltimore) and the 7/5 (VA) shows at the same time?
Any advice would be appreciated.

I can only offer a tidbit about number one. I would think that if you can't buy the tix in person at "non-local" Ticketmasters, you wouldn't be able to do it on the phone either.Big Red Parrothead wrote:Hey, Blonde Stranger. I'm just gonna take my chances tomorrow. I'll confiscate the computer, the phone and my cel phone.

I believe Auntie's right about ordered from a "non-local" Ticketmaster. The method by which Ticketmaster determines whether or not a specific retail location is considered close enough to the venue to be labeled “Northern Virginia” or “DC” has also been a mystery to me.
I will say that both Merriweather and Nissan have the same numbers listed for ordering by phone so you should be able to get tickets to both from the same representative. Note I say, “SHOULD be able”!
Washington, DC : 202-432-SEAT
Maryland: 410-481-SEAT
Northern Virginia: 703-573-SEAT
Out of State: 800-551-SEAT
My suggestion would be to concentrate on the show you really want to go to. Then try and get tickets to the other. I know, I know, we all really want to go to both! I’ve been shutout a couple of times by spreading myself (and my luck) to thin. Better to have tickets to one concert, then tickets to none at all!
Oh yeah, VA Parrotheads do RULE!!!

Howdy!!
I'm glad to hear that Landmark is usually a good place to hit for tickets. One of us is going to be at that location.
I'll be up in Columbia MD. I'm not sure what that will be like but the lady at Hecht's told me to get there early because there is always a line. I sure hope we luck out!!!
Any one else planning to be at the Hecht's in Columbia Town Center?
