I would be willing to bet that I am one of the world's most northerly parrotheads.. Ever see a parrot in a fur coat???
I am from northern Alberta, where, as I write this it is -30 with the wind chill and at least 3 feet of snow.
No wonder I am so happy to be going to VEGAS!!!!! :D :P

Anyword on a Phlocking for Denver? going to miss Vegas, got shut out on
tickets so Denver becomes next best. Our last show was St. Pat's day
in San Jose two years ago, great show for some reason WAY better
than the Oakland show just nights before. BTW is the young lady that
was on Temptation Island still Dancing with Jimmy? In Oakland
Club Trini was on the concourse playing and She had me dance with
her for a song or two ( Or a lifetime She is a DOLL) and it was not
untill two nights later I found out she had played on T.I. Just wondering
Hope to see at least some of this Phlock in Denver and if anyone
hears of a phlocking or if the tailgate scene is going to be in full
swing let me know. Please.
BTW. The road parrot sister and I want to Go East next summer
Where are the Better venues?
Chi town? Boston? never been east of Montana so we are looking for
a new adventure like we hope to have in Denver, see a show or two
and check out a town/place we have never been.. Thanks
:D
Rag - we had our first pre-concert planning party last night ~ will prolly know the location of the party by Saturday ~ regardless, it is walking/light rail distance to the venue. Already set is the Pan Jumbies  Hope to meet you then!! Last year we had around 500 at the party!

Back to topic ~ welcome newbies.......it's great to have fresh blood

This is my first time posting, but I've been reading BN for about a year. Looking forward to my 2nd Buffett concert in my own home town (Vegas) Some friends from SoCal are coming for the concert & we hope to meet some of you when we sneak into your hotel pools!

Can't wait to meet up with some phans in Vegas, it'll be my 2nd Buffett show. Just became a ph myself last summer, right before the San Diego show. I know Vegas will be 10 times better, me and 5 of my buddies are gonna paint the town red. We're stayin' at San Remo, and hope to be partying at Key Largo and every other place that's jumpin'! I'll be the one in the Wyland shirt :D

Hey all!

Newbie here. I'm a 28 year old parrothead living in West Virginia. Been a Buffett fan for a little over 10 years and catch him each year at the Pittsburgh show, but I'd love to start road-tripping. Can't wait to get to know everyone!

Take care and phins up!!

I'm only a newbie to you folks. I feel like I've been here forever( at least 3 concerts: Raleigh, Greensboro, Raleigh). I'm one of those untrustworthy "lurkers" who get to read more than they get to talk. It's harder for some of us to be the extroverted 10,000+ posts type, but we're here.

(frightening, idn't it)..........

Actually, I'm an accountant at a paper mill by trade, so your fears can be immediately dispelled with boredom...)

I love this place!!!!!!!!!! ( and I'm only a standard amount of nuts..)

It doens't matter what the number of posts you have is, Minnie. As long as you're here! Sounds like you probably deal with enough numbers each day anyway! We're glad you found us! :D

......someone brought up the san jose and oakland indoor shows. the 2 year anniversary of those shows is fast approaching. it was a nice change to watch jb indoors apart from vegas. the san jose show was indeed very special because it was saint patricks day, and the wearing of the green was in great evidence. but the oakland show was just as great. never a bad show, unless it's at shoreline in mid april. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.......

"listen to the stories i could tell"

just another gypsie in the place, headed for vegas
