Depends on kind of fishing and kind of boat. If I had an offshore boat (which I never will cause I get seasick :( ) I'd call it Floridazed.
I do plan on owning a flats boat which, while not Buffett-related, will be called "Flats All Folks!" :)

"Flats All Folks" I love it!

I'm getting confused though...are you naming a boat, or are you naming a fishing team???????????

It is for an inshore, saltwater fishing team. FLORIDAYS was my first idea, but I am still looking for more. Thanks

How many people make up the team?

phjrsaunt, I am looking for the name of an inshore, saltwater fishing team. However, it is customary that the name of the team is the name of the boat and vice versa.

The team is really a two man team but we usually fish with three. If that makes any sense.

I totally get it. I'm into plays on words. Maybe do something like "The Triple Pair" or play off of that angle...I'll think more on it....

How well do you like the third guy. You could call your selves "2guys and some bait!"

I was naming boats - but like it was mentioned above, team names are frequently interchangeable with the boat name: "Team Floridays".
My brother has a 16' Action Craft called "Slim 2 None". We joke he named it that because of the amount of water we fish in, the amount of body fat on his frame and our chances of catching anything! ;)
He's actually a good fisherman - very patient and determined.
Phloridaboy - do you ever check out the forums on floridasportsman.com? Some really good info there. Here's a pic of my Slim 2 None brother with his trophy from last night:

How about "Fins"?

Make it "Phins" although that may imply a Miami Dolphins connection. Here are some other possibilities: "Peddlers and Fishers" or "Sea Cruisers" or "Some White People Can Fish." Just a few suggestions.

EZ. I am on the FS forum quite often. I deliberately didn't post this topic on there though. Although most of those guys are quite intelligent, they usually don't have many good things to say about Bubba.

P.S. - tell Slim 2 None Nice Poon!
