Why Don't we get Drunk and Screw

The one that comes to mind right now is:
It was too much tequila
Or not quite enough.
It's a semi-true story
Believe it or not
I made up a few things
And there's some I forgot.
But the life and the tellin'
Are both real to me
And they all run together and turn out to be
A semi-true story.

Thinking of Vegas here...
That's just the start of a
well deserved over due binge

Good one Cousin!!!
I have to add one more:
It's never too much and never too late
To pack your bags and get out of state.
Is it ignorance or apathy
The worried will all disagree.
Some say life isn't fair,
Hell, I don't know and I don't care.
Favotire song lines...

In a Bourbon Street bar,
I received my first scar.
From an old man so tattered and torn.

another vegas thought:
"he's on his third drink before the weels of the plane leave the ground"
By Jove

The line is actually: "By Jove, he's having a cocoa." It is one of my favorites as you see in my sig. Another is from his collaboration with Alan Jackson: "It must not be that different, the ass and the hole in the ground. They often are mistaken for each other, I have found."

Love all the ones you've listed.
One that I've liked recently is:
I think It's time to check
The crab trap of life once more

Another fave:
During the live version of One Particular Harbor
"... Where I see the day when my hair's full gray And I finally disappear ... BUT NOT YET!!"
Always encouraging to know there'll be another year of touring!

Hey, we can't all be perfect. I am just trying to help everyone else get as close as possible. We're all on a Buffett forum, so we're close to begin with.

You've only got 2 options, having fun or freaking out!

Need is a relative thing these days,
It borders on desire...
also....
I knew I could use a Bloody Mary,
So I stumbled next door to the bar.
And now I must confess,
I could use some rest.
I can't run at this pace very long.
Yes, it's quite insane,
I think it hurts my brain.
But it cleans me out and then I can go on.

Some of it's magic
Some of it's tragic
But I had a good life all the way

I love TOO many to mention, but a current fun one is
I try and make a point of protecting the innocent, but none of them can be found
