Jimmy and his management company do have a plan for fans. It's called joining your local Parrot Head club, pay your dues, give back to this planet and the people on it by doing some great service work in your communities. The Parrot Head Clubs are allocated 300 tickets per concert that they pay for and the clubs in turn sell them to their deserving members. Those who join clubs just to get tickets and do nothing else, don't get tickets.

Hey...good luck with the tickets. I hope it works out for you. I was one of the fortunate ones that got tickets. I am looking forward to the show.

However, one thing that has worked for me in the past is wait in line at the box office (around 5PM) and ask if any tickets have been released. Usually, depending on the set up of spot lights and soundboard etc., the venue will have a number of tickets to sell at the last minute. It has worked for me twice at Great Woods and I had decent indoor seats.

The only problem is you have to stay somewhat sober enough to get and pay for the tickets...but once you get them go nuts...anyway that's why funnel's were invented...LOL

I didn't have any luck on Saturday at all. I personally missed out on Nissan and Merriweather tickets in line by about 13 people. I also never wasn't able to connect on the phone for Mansfield. Luckily a friend of mine was able to get Nissan tickets but I still don't have Merriweather or the all coveted Mansfield. I only need two but it doesn't look good at this point.

It's that time again....

I am off to see Jimmy 8/23 in Chicago, then back to San Diego for work, then back on a red eye thursday night to BOSTON!!

This lil ol San Diego phan is on track for 7 shows this year (Las Vegas twice, San Diego, Irvine, GW, Chicago...and I hope to meet as many GW phans as possible. I will be at both shows in a large rented SUV with my California plates "temporarily" installed.... PIRET40.
(I am the reason you never buy a rental vehicle)

Any BNer's stop by and I will be happy to pour a Captn & Diet for you!
