Dear Mr Boss:

I wanted to explain that I have a very good reason for getting arrested yesterday. You see, it all started when I stopped at a bar. Not long after that I ran into Celine Dion. We decided to catch the last half of the Lee Totten set at the club and have just one drink. Being the responsible person that I am, I assure you that it really was meant to be "just one drink".

I'm sure you've heard the stories about Celine Dion (they're true) so you'll understand when I tell you that one thing led to another. Without warning we started doing body shots. Honestly, I was only thinking about leaving, and how I had someplace to be today. Really, I wanted to do the right thing. But Celine Dion is very stubborn and the next thing I know I'm in Vegas wearing only my thong.

Now, at this time I said to myself "Self, this is okay! You can still get home!" After all, I'm responsible and I have my priorities straight. Little did I know that the worst was yet to come.

Again, it wasn't my fault - this can all be blamed on Celine Dion.

A short while later, after I streaked, I vaguely remember being thrown into the trunk of a Chrysler Sebring convertible and taken to a Buffett concert. I couldn't stop thinking "That damn Celine Dion got me into this. Damn Celine Dion, damn Celine Dion."

Once there, I picked up a stripper and I don't remember much until dawn. When I did finally wake up -- and here's the wierd part -- I discovered that I lost all my clothes!! Besides that, I was craving bean burritos!!!!

Anyway, I'm sure you can understand that, although I really wanted to be at work, I was just still in jail.

I'm sure you've heard all this before but if it makes you feel any better, I plan on kicking Celine Dion's ass for getting me in trouble.
