I really do understand most parrotheads.

Well said JD!
I consider myself one of the most luckiest people alive, to have found this music and way of life. Through it, I have met the most wonderful people - quite a few who will be life long friends. I have been welcomed with open arms to peoples homes that I have never met when I travel to the USA.
Now, I live all year, working hard, to save the money, to go back over to visit my friends, both old and new in the USA. Bring on November!!!!

you said it JD. I am 28 and from the first show i went to I have always been treated great. You can tell real parrotheads from the ones there just to party rather easily. Real Parrotheads are more than happy to talk to you and offer some food or drink if they have extra. Those that aren't will ignore you and try to get you to go on your way. All they ask for is decency(in most cases) and to not be an a**hole
Talk is cheap, it takes money to buy your freedom....

Yes, you said it JD! What a positive vibe this thread is!!!
Just moving this back up to the top and saying hello to everyone out there, it's been awhile since I posted last.
I have met so many awesome people at the JB concerts I've been to, meeting new people at each show and reconnecting with friends is a huge part of the fun for me!! In my experience it's been a blast, starting conversations with those parked next to me or walking by...trading different types of beers and food and stories. I hope to finally meet some of you fellow BN'ers at chicago and alpine this summer!
